  • Gah, I watched allll of this show. Aeon and Trevor drama <3

  • Now you can count

  • what ever you do don`t count how many comments there are.

  • This was and still is a cartoon ahead of its time.

  • Okay, guys, the movie sucked and the cartoon is underrated. We get it. Move on or say something of consequence, dammit.

  • i like how the cartoon trailer seems like anime trash but the movie makes everything so smooth and elite

  • .... what did i just watch..

  • my friend has every episode and we get stoned as fuck or drunk and watch this :D

  • Comment removed

  • They seriously need to have more episodes, bring it back, like they did with Bevis and Butthead.

  • I loved this show when it was on in the '90s!

  • Most underated shows of the 90s.

  • I miss this oddly entertaining cartoon. Sense Aeon was hot back then, does that make her a milf now? Well? You know? If they made a new sires?

  • @TheseNuts86 yeah shes is definatly a milf now :))

  • What's the name of this song? I like it alot!!

  • Trippy, but love it.

  • I watched this when I was like 5 years old, its strangely arousing watching the hot chick die every episode i remember lol

  • @smartspick You're weird. I like it.

  • This may sound a bit weird but I use to get a boner off this show. (laughing) Is that normal? Even after the fact it's a cartoon?

  • @K3N0J1N Not weird at all

  • "You just don't get it"

Pretty much sums up the whole show.

  • i like 2rhink that eon flux is doing some ninja shit while she is upside down annd catching a fly with her eye lashes

  • i saw this wen i was 9

  • Very animesque.

  • @hotelmario510 You should watch Reign: The Conqueror .

  • @Neane1993 I should.

  • This is the toon that introduced me to hentai..

    Weird, huh?

  • @myquill23 Nah, not really.

  • Peter Chung's stuff is almost always gold.

  • The fact that this was the same artist who drew rug rats, makes me laugh. Love the way how he refused to be stuck in one niche which soooo many artists find themselves in

  • I walked away thinking a lot about the horror and randomness of war. It didn't matter how "good" you were, you could still be taken out, by something as random as a nail in your shoe, as Aeon found out in one episode.

  • Few animated cartoons was as thought provoking as this. You'd get attached to one character, saw them kick major butt, only to see them suddenly die...and then you were swept into the story of another character. It was brilliant. You had to pay attention, or you'd miss stuff. And even if you WERE paying attention, you still would miss stuff! LOL!

  • i hate the show with a passion.

  • @otacon451 nooooooooo! sniff sniff

  • Loved the cartoon, the ambience and eerieness was incredible. You always had the feeling of nothing was what it seemed.

The relationship between Aeon and Trevor was always 1 of the highlights of the show, beautifully summed up in this opening.

  • I used to watch this and it's for adults! I want to watch again.

  • @Scorpiusgrl buy the dvd boxset

  • This cartoon used to freak me out, as a kid.

    O Wait... it still does.

  • @Tonycaveman Me too When I was little had nightmares because I watch this show before I went to sleep.

  • can some one tell me why do this cartoon look so dumb and ulgy I liked the RL Æon Flux better

  • @MissCedarbridge1 for starters the real life version wasn't thought provoking and original; because you wouldn't know what to do with terms like replication and thanatophobia; because evidently you have no idea what the hell is going on other than the formulaic eye candy that's fed to the public so you can obdurately copy, paste and send it for the rest of your life. The live action movie was oblivious, having absolutely nothing to do with the animation other than share a name. Chin up.

  • @dirtywallet yes and thats why I like the real life movie better because the cartoon one was to confused so all hell to the real deal and fuck them fake toons

  • @MissCedarbridge1 Oh no, no... don't be confused, don't ever be confused because being confused would be just too confusing. Like when you see a road sign that says "Railroad Crossing" except it doesn't say "Railroad Crossing" it has a fucking picture of two intersecting lines that could save your dumb ass but you wouldn't know it unless you read a fucking book and realized or thought, "Hey! That's what that means!" and didn't get hit by a fucking train. How's that for thanatophobia? ;D

  • @dirtywallet <----- please leave drugs alone okay sir now have a nice day and oh yeah check out my video

  • @MissCedarbridge1 It is YouTube... why not? Aeon Flux is one of my favorite shows, and cartoons are great for sharing their stories in fresh and imaginative ways, epitomized by a limitless potential for innovation in every facet of media. Oh, and the next time you feel the compulsive urge to enunciate bullshit, and get called out, try not to get too confused since that would inherently characterize you as dumb as shit, or ugly. Choose wisely.

  • @dirtywallet all thats bull shit you just now said dont mean shit ----> Aeon Flux cartoon is still not better then-----> Aeon Flux the movie you dumb fuck face for a human being

  • @MissCedarbridge1 Glad you were able to definitively answer your own shitty question. Which is a start. Case in point: I really wasn't sure if you were attempting to debunk that missing grey matter, and yet you've somehow proved that to be your fucking eulogy. Look out for those trains; it's the other gust of wind not resonating from your amazingly hollow cranium. Outstanding.

  • @dirtywallet man the point I have made was that the Aeon cartoon was shitty if you cant see my point then please wear thick glasses LOL

  • @MissCedarbridge1 Oh I can 'see your point' just fine, Miss Bridge. Needs work, but I guess you really can't fix stupid.

  • @dirtywallet you never saw my point I had to break it down into a 1st grade class just so you can understand what I meant there no need to call you dumb because I just did LOL

  • @MissCedarbridge1 So, to clarify, you ralphing about a cartoon you hate because it's confusing and therefore dumb and ugly, a show you elect to watch after arriving at the self imposed conclusion that you hate fake cartoons anyway, is indicative of your superior, non-thick glasses wearing level of intelligence... Stay at home. Do not infect the rest of the world with the shit that falls so easily out of that wiffle ball of an ensemble sitting there on some sorry, languishing mass of filth. 409.

  • @MissCedarbridge1 you like the movie because it was simple easy for you to understand even though it was generic crap , but the cartoon was too complicated for you it involved thinking, it's understandable you want to be entertained not lectured but if you can get pass that it's actually really good

  • @blazedsamurai because that toon show was some crap sorry charlie but you can keep them bull shit Aeon Flux toons you can give me the movie action flix any giving day word!!

  • @MissCedarbridge1 so can i ask you a question you know you hate the cartoon version of aeon flux but you still come on here to talk shit about it why ?

  • @blazedsamurai Good luck with Miss Bridge, a crane couldn't tip that cow; a person blatantly smart enough to operate a computer, yet absolutely devoid of any stream of thought; paradoxical cannon fodder.

  • Remote controlled wasps = BAD ASS

  • I watched this entire series off Netflix instant in a day. The animation, which would likely be described as "ugly" by most, was in my opinion quite unique. Seeing as it had no single storyline, the world felt well-developed as did the characters to an extent. I wish someone would remake this series.

  • You know, I've sat down and REALLY tried to understand some of the segments in some of the episodes, for the most part they are easy to follow, but my goodness is it fun to figure it out. One of the greatest animations in my opinion, just has a unique style and feel to it. Also Drew Newman is a kick ass composer.

MTV was so awesome when they came up with the concept of getting underground adult animation and pulling it all together for the masses. Wished someone would do it today. =[

  • Whats up with the fly coght in her eye lash?

  • WHAT... WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH?!!! And why... why am I only watching it now for the first time...

I must get stoned and watch this.

  • I remember watching the animated shorts when I was younger, they were really violent and the woman (Aeon?) usually ended up dying at the end. Never followed the show much though.

  • @mgreene11111 I THINk she was a clone, that why she was "reborn" at the beginning of each episode???? just a thought.

  • AEONFLEX <-------THE PRODUCER, CLICKME!

  • @AeonFlexMusic

    Awful.

  • @truthintuning thanks kids, stay tuned for more

  • Aeon Flux was a tranny??

  • what the fuck? that was mega retarded

  • @MasonBuchkoTV What!? You're of course entitled to your opinion, but Aeon Flux was badass.

It had it's own unique animation and look, was set in a crazy world that was really made to feel alive and have it's own identity and you 8000% never knew what was going to go on.

I HATED liquid television for the most part yet watched it consistently to catch this thing.

Sit and watch a couple of them. Give it a chance.

There's never been anything like it and there never will be.

  • This opening is epic, but the one where it shows the whole sequence of the fly and the eye was eye and mind candy. It messed with your head, and made it unable for you to think straight after watching it!

  • Peter Chung is a genius!

  • I think i saw this when I was 6 really weird

  • really? 24 klowns dislike wtf why visit an AF channel if you're not in to cyberpunk?

  • I'm surprise Adult Swim haven't picked this show up. :\

  • @VitaminD313 I think they definitely should, but MTV sucks balls. They probably wont distribute the rights for Adult Swim to play it!

  • i hate how boney they draw her. evrything else is ok thogh ^_^

  • the opening itself it's a piece of art!

  • Who does her voice? She sounds familar...

  • @colleen4ever Denise Poirier.

  • @conatcha Thanks, I couldn;t remember.

  • I miss Aeon Flux :(

  • this is a anime 1 the hair styles tat look all loped up ad how skiny ever one is but i love it

  • Back when mtv was still good and played music videos 70 to 80% of the time. Does anyone remember when they used to show "the young ones" every sunday night, before 120 minutes?

  • Adult Swim seems to be the same type of thing that Liquid Television was. I think they should bring back Liquid Television though. They should do an animated Aeon Flux movie too with the original people.

  • This show rocks. Superb animation, deep subtext upon deep subtext. They should put more intelligent shows like this on TV. Raise the bar, don't lower it. Aeon rocks!

  • Why can't there b more shows like this

  • this is fucking tripping me out...

  • The original "mostly-silent" series was better.

  • this cartoon fucked my brain when i was a kid

  • Æon is HOT!!! I'm also kind of a fetishist... Love long legs, tight leather outfits, amazing tits and a perfect nose.I'd wish Chung would really bring to life the next season of Æon

  • MTV really had big balls to put a show like this on the air.

But I am so glad they did. Easily one of the most intelligent, well-made science fiction shows I've seen

  • @edgehead111 Fiction? Zeitgeist / Venus Project...

  • Man, seeing this reminds me of the glory days of MTV (1990s) from when I was 7 to 15. I remember watching this and beavis and butthead and all of MTV between 1991 to 1999 (the year MTV died in my mind). I'm going to be 27 soon and it's still good to see that the good of MTV is still around the internet.

It's sad to see that MTV sold out our generation (GEN Y) and future generations to the crap they have on the network now with this reality garbage!!!!!!

  • Of course a show like this is long gone and people barely remember it, while garbage like Jersey Shore gets pumped out ad nauseaum endlessly.

  • We need more adult cartoons like this, not just shows that make jokes about stuff from the 80s...I mean series with real plots and characters.

  • @DarknessbUnnie We still have Ghost In The Shell and Cowboy Bebop.

  • Scary.

  • It's probably already been said, and you can easily tell from the animation style, but Peter Chung worked on Rugrats, which used to be just as awesome, both storywise and visually!

Regardless, this show is just amazing in every way.

  • I miss this....

  • Venus eye trap, anyone?

  • I miss Liquid Television and all the shows pumped from it. I wonder if there is a Liquid television dvd set for sale...

  • That very last bit with the fly (and the accompanying music) is absolutely hypnotic.

  • Weird,I like weird and creative.

  • WHOA!

MTV 90s (aka MTV worth watching) and MTV today (aka reality retard show network) look and feel like they're from completely different worlds!

  • WHOA!

MTV 90s (aka Mtv worth watching) and MTV today (aka reality retard show network) look and feel like they're from completely different worlds!

  • can someone explain something here? aeon flux eps are like different stories and are non cannon to the next one right? cause sometimes eaon dies...

  • Whoa, if the intro is anything to go by, I'm real sorry to have never seen this.

  • Never knew there was this show. I only knew about the name Aeon Flux because of the game with the same name.

  • Nostalgia. A shame MTV turned to shit.

  • This cartoon is very bizarre, but it's awesome too:)

  • miss Aeon Flux!! <3

  • this show is freaking krazy, but i LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

  • How I wish they would return MTV back to the old days of these kind of shows! Now it's all about "reality tv"...booooooriiiiiing....I'd trade the new MTV for the late 80s-early 90s MTV any day!

  • i remember the shorts on liquid tv b4 the series. when aeon used to die everytime. kind of like kenny..lol. good stuff.

  • "You just dont get it "

That sums up the whole show

  • Awesome animated show i loved since i was 14 when it aired on TV

  • never watched this when I was young but its sure nostalgic !

  • Trippy

  • I thought Aeon Flux was a live action film.

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 it is, but its based on the animated series

  • @BankaiIchigo12345 - The cartoon first aired before the movie was released. The cartoon aired in 1991, and the movie in 2005.

  • Cel animation isn't coming back, guys. You literally cannot pay people to go through the tedium of doing everything by hand since all the artists have moved on to digital.

  • @RiotShield oh my god not my animation teacher! he...definitely has not

  • ಠ_ಠ Aeon Flux!!!

    nuff said

    lol

  • Peter Chung masterpiece, without doubt.

I also watched Reign the Conqueror but i didn't liked it as much as Aeon Flux.

  • This show used to creep the fuck out of me as a kid, but I watched it anyway. That eye *shudders*

  • When MTV stopped airing Aeon Flux, they marked and end to an era of awesomeness and the beginning to an era of glory hunting airheads.

  • Does anyone else eat their own toenails?

  • @TionKau4444 ............................Julie

  • hand drawn animation is the only type that should exist. god i miss the 90s

  • watched the box set on mushrooms saw life in a different perspective

  • Love the babble at the beginning. It sets the ton for the series perfectly. ;)

  • fucking great!

  • Late at night, watching Aeon Flux.

  • Who would want to catch flies with their eye lashes?

  • @ElegeantFencer my grandmother

  • MASTERPIECE

  • Dat ass....

I remember this was the cartoon that kickstarted puberty for me :D

  • i remember watching liquid tv all late about it when i was younger.... i think this show kinda fuckd me up in the head a lil bit.. i dont think i was old enough to really understand it lol but the images are still burned in my head..

  • @Jeffariah oh god, i had so many experiences like that. scarred for life.

  • @Jeffariah

you are not alone my friend...lots of us got fucked up by MTV's late night programming :p

  • @rikmeter It's a good thing we did get fucked up in the head, otherwise we'd be watching the mindless reality TV shows that come on now. Except for Family Guy, The Simpsons, and American Dad of course. >.>

  • @Jeffariah This show did the same for me, fucked my mind a bit, but I have always felt that was a good thing, I would say up late for this show and The Maxx, two of the the best animated shows MTV ever put on air, it's a shame their programing has become such mindless reality show crap.

  • @Jeffariah

    lol tottally same here xD

  • @Jeffariah i don't mean to be the (no doubt) 100th person to say the same thing, but same here!

  • Somehow this animation just makes me sick, i dont know why though :P

  • I remember seeing this with some sex scene. I used to watch this like 2 am.

  • I miss hand drawn animantion : (

  • @Drahgoon Yeah, everything's now CGI bull shit...

  • @Drahgoon Me too!

  • @Drahgoon As do we all...sigh.

  • @mr1029384756 lets hope it comes back in style.

  • @Drahgoon Doubtful, really. CGI seems to be all anyone ever wants now adays. But you're right, we can still dream...

  • @Drahgoon think in the trees! xD

  • @newcanodin indeed

  • @Drahgoon eternal billions of thumbs up!!!

  • @PanterAmetal100 d(>w<)b

  • you are one the age, I am the AGE !

  • I miss MTV when they use to show this show and lots of others. Including Dorea. I loved that show as well. Good thing I bought the whole dvd series set of Aeon Flux. Now I can watch it any time I want. I think I was 9 or 10 years old when I have first seen the show. They had a marathon of it on MTV. So I got to see the whole show all in one day. It was awesome. Aeon rocks. :D

  • @MrsEmmaPeel07 U mean Daria, right?

  • @MicBain81

Yes Daria was what I meant. lol. It's been awhile since I have seen the show so it was hard to remember her name correctly. lol. Thank you for correcting me. :D

  • @MrsEmmaPeel07 Hehe dats ok, I thought it was funny because what u wrote kinda sounded like diarhea, which is what Beavis and Butthead used to call her when she used to be a character on their show..

  • @MicBain81

OMG!!! That is funny. lol. :D

  • @MrsEmmaPeel07

Where did you buy Aeon Flux and how much was it? I'm sorry for being so incurably inquistive but I have to know!!!

  • @my5guysgirl

I bought my Aeon Flux complete series at FYE movie and music store. For me it was somewhere around 30 dollars, but I bought mine over a year ago. Price could have changed since then. lol. Good luck finding it. I hope you do. Great series. So worth every penny. :D

  • Seen all Flux series stoned&high as fuck.

    Awesome shit,deep meaning..

    Not a simplistic cartoon.Something more.

    Background is amazing.Thx Peter Chung

  • Fan question: what is supposed to be that big structure that's seen at the beginning?

  • que sibujos tan oscuros pero me gusta y son buenas

  • Aeon Flux was an awesome show. The last time I saw it on television was sometime around 2002/2003 when MTV2 decided they would bring animation back. They constantly flip flop between putting it on in the summer and then taking it off after summer.

MTV is such a shit channel today, no fucking music, no fucking organization. The return of Beavis and Butthead is probably the true rebirth of the channel.

  • Does anybody remember the name of the cartoon (it was about the same time as when Aeon was on) that the guy had like and alien living inside his head and his head was massive! I know it sounds like a joke but it really isn't just please answer if you know!
