I played with this board at a guitar center a bout a month ago and drooled then. I didn't even realize some of the features on it, though! Very nice and great overview video!
Just tested the NS7 at the Musik dj messe in frankfurt three days ago... The best midi controller in my opinion out there. Fader is spot on, software responsiveness is super! You can flat out skratch on this unit also! This is the real deal for any dj who wants to go or stay on the midi djing side of things! I highly recommend it! SONAR (2005 DMC DJ World finalist!)
no effects on it, per se, but there is an input on the right side for interfacing with an effects unit. He didn't mention that in the video here, but I made sure to make sure of that when I was playing around with it.
i looked at one of these yesterday and its typical numark cheap crap avoid it. if you want itch get a vestax vci300 or buy full ssl and use it with a denon or pioneer midi controller.
this looks cute ;). i like the fact that i can use serato with motorized plates without the hassle of needles. Also like how serato is becoming industry standard at the clubs. kinda sketchy about numark. though. purchased the cdx's and those things were crap. i dont like playing on crap
but ill probably sell my techs and take a chances with this because the only time i use tables are at the clubs (with serato ofcoarse). this looks like it could save some space and do the job
I dono about anyone else, but these puppies are on my x-mas list, once they hit the market I drop the dime. The great thing about these decks is they are compatible with Virtual DJ, serato, or Tractor......
at that pride i would be a fool to buy them now, learned my lesson with the CDX's i bought mine then like 3 months later he HDX version was cheaper than the CD version LOL. But i do love my CDX's
it is in a case of its own, there are many types of controllers for different needs, some prefer cdj time code. some like the vinyl feel, Some like expensive some go cheap, What i tryin to say is that if u wanna buy ur things separte go ahead, but this is for people who dont like much connecting and configing programs to get it work,
warning.what fatso didnt tell you is that itch is not lisenced to play music paid for on itunes or any other music download site.Just bought a vci300 with itch and found out the hard way
This is nice but I learned the hard way purchasing all in components. If one thing goes wrong e.g one player or the mixer, your screwed. I would rather pay a little more and buy components separately. Not to take away from numark, my first player was a numark ( CDN24 ) and it never let me down for almost 5 years. I hope they make it to where you can buy the pieces separately.
I know what your saying, but these guys are sleek, I will cough up the cash for the extra warranty, Numark always backs there products.....Best to always have back up man....
I am just getting into DJing, haven't got any equipment yet though. what does everyone think about digital and CD setups, and about set up this technical? and does anyone have a brand they would recomend
hey i just got into DJing too and got a Numark omni control it controls Traktor 3 LE I would also recommend the Hercules RMX because you can hook up turntables to it. As for CD djing I have no idea :)
I don't have anything against the ns7, but, its just a controller, would have been much better if Numark added cd decks, just in case u r the one setting up for a party and another dj arrives may be using cds and if not its not likely the other dj may have itch or any other software with the HID support for the ns7 on his laptop. But other than that, it's a pretty sexy machine.
nov 30 this year others dec 8 or next year. pssl told me they have a close relationship with numark they are getting 20 units 6 so far has been order pre other now if you want one!!
the guys at pssl told me $1350 i think its a ok price vs me getting 2 icdx $800 a good mixer $100 serato $550 coffin 100 damn near two grand... is anyone setup under $1350 here? lol
word, its much cheaper going down the TCV route, the only thing youll be missing is the instant looping options (unless you get a midi controller, or mixer with midi capabilities)
What kind of speakers should be use with NS7?

que buena maquina... el sonido del scratch es real, es mejor q una cj1000 de pionner?

el sonido de scratch no tiene nada q ver con este dispositivo. tiene q ver con el programa q este "simulando" el scratch.

i'm told this fall - 1300 US dollars...
jonpaulevans 3 years ago
Actually, the new price is $2000 US, £1200
westendDJ 3 years ago
Ok December 8th is the realese date in the UK Would it be the same date for the US or sooner?
francob911 3 years ago
Well, knowing Numark it will probably get to the US first! The dates they quote are never accurate anyway!
westendDJ 3 years ago
That's to dam expensive. They're gonna have a hard time justifying that price with DJs whether it's worth it or not.
