@BustaGutTv I,m very glad You like it! I tried to mix rock playfully with a bit classical kinda motives. The very "deep essence": Fun wins even against it's own Fate.
So: fun forever!:) (You not only know it as well, but do it too and bravely live this way not caring the opinion of "too normal" people but annoying them:)
@guruofpiano Big fat thanks G.!:) I don,t know lot about drumming either since I,m only a selftaught, so would not understand "professional phrases":) I know only what a triplet is, rhythms in 4/4, 3/4, 5/4 etc. but nothing else. I don,t know even the name of each chords I use on banjo:) (And don,t use many...:) When I started to play in a band 30 ys ago, they didn,t believe me when I asked which the C major is. They thought I,m joking. Of course I used C,s etc. but knew only "G" by name:)
Hi Dave! Many thanks!:) Means really a lot!!! You know the best the hardship of this kinda playing. Unfortunately I don,t know other drummer - beside You and Vadrum and of course Terry Bozio who try to develop drumming more musical.
Anyway You came into my mind just this morning: how fine loosely You play on cymbals eg. in Red. Usually I don,t like to use lot cymbals, prefer the hi-hat tight sound, but as You do, that,s really fine. Maybe You konw Pierre van der Linden (Focus, Trace) tbh.
Phenomenal, George! You really keep the "tune" going throughout, while mixing up the tempos. Amazing work! And as far as I can tell, you're the ONLY one doing this. Let's hope some big-shots see you! You deserve to be credited with pioneering this melodic tom-driven approach to drumming.
@17drums tbh: Excellent drummer, but always uses the lead cymbal which says: ssssssssss premanently and it ruins his work - for me. So in the morning he came into my mind too comparing to You: how much better is Your cymbal playing. His one disturbing, Your one absolutely enjoyable even for me who is not keen on "crowded" cymbal sound.
WOW!!! Another unbelievable jam! Awesome! :)
