Amazing game, but the first still remains my favorite game of all time. Please give the first one a try guys. The key is to have patience and adapt to the battle system and you will be rewarded like no other game you have ever played. It truly is a Masterpiece and it would be a shame for someone who can run it to pass it up. Just remember patience is key, way too many people quit the game within the first few hours, which is a huge huge shame.

@woofkakashi In my opinion books are really good. But you dont have to read them to appreciate game. And unfortunately they translate to english only one tome of short stories (from 3) and 2 tomes of 5 from saga. Game itself is full o retrospections showing some things from books. But I have feeling there will be much more references to books in 3'rd Witcher. O, and you dont need to play 1'st one also. Some will say 1'st is even better but everyone has his own opinion :)

I don't get it. People complains about how easy games became and plot is weak. Now look at this game - it's hard enough, you have many things to do, you can just walk around the city and admire its beauty. Also plot is very interesting. It's not only about to kill monsters -> get exp. And now I'm reading comments like: gameplay is too hard, too many dialogues. Wtf people. This game is just perfect. This intro is the best I've ever seen. I wish they'll upload it in 1080p.

@draconite420 If you have the same graphical settings as the ps3 or xbox versions do, then yes, a 500 dollar pc can run those games just as smoothly. My 530$ pc is running bf3 at maximum settings at no lower than 30fps.
