Kinda like my problem with women. Stand way too close observing them. She'll blow up on you when you stand too close. My suggestion is MORE DUCKTAPE on that Z rated nozzle!! There was an arc to the exhaust gases which means something was wrong with the Nozzle and so the rocket would not fly very straight. Plenty of power though and yeah it was a rather silly idea to put a camera so close to the exhaust jet.

@atourdeforce Maybe, but judging by all the crap that came out of the nozzle at start up, I imagine they thought the camera wouldn't have been hit by the exhaust at all (but it should have been better steadied even so). Unfortunately, looks like the nozzle failed spectacularly, producing that huge misshaped exhaust jet which clobbered the camera. I doubt they got 2k from that motor like that, but maybe just about what they would have gotten if the nozzle had stayed together.

Honestly, what were you thinking by putting the camera downstream of the exit? You're exit velocity is about 3000m/s and probably around 1000m/s at 10m. A simple rough calculation could have told you that your camera was experiencing about 50N of drag assuming this is a 10kN engine.
