Okay in theory this could have been possible with really old cell phones and it was possible with older pa phones by recording a certain tone the phone makes like they did in the movie Hackers but that is only in theory because even if you did record it playing it back on perfect pitch as it is recorded in near impossible esp. with such and old recorder the gum wrapper thing Rat does in the movie is also false because seeing as how u can only make one sound on a gum wrapper at a time.
