Palm is no way dead or dying. They are the first to venture into the whole PDA idea. Now with the Palm Pre, a true Iphone killer, they are going to be doing a hell of alot better. I know its taken forever for anyone to come up with anything that comes close to the iphone, but the Palm Pre will be the David that beats the Goliath. I thought that I was making a wise choice in purchasing the INSTINCT, thinking that it would be good competttion with the 3G Iphone. Boy was I wrong. But the Pre? Hum

Palm is dead. There is no reason to buy any of their products. That statement is coming from someone who has owned the m515, Tungsten T3 (best PDA ever made), and currently use the Treo 755p (infreqent freezes so annoying).

Palm is in NO WAY dead.. They are doing GREAT in hardware improvements.. They are just moving slow in software improvements.. They new software (which is meshed with linux) Should start being shipped on phones in Q1 of 09'.. And anyway the apps for palm os are being created by day, so the phones/pda's are constantly being improved
