Do you have yours already? I saw the banana-hobby video and thought it's an awsome plane. I do have the F4U from FMS and had no problems with the servos yet. I guess regarding the price it IS awesome :)
That would be my first EDF plane, I cant wait to see it flying.
Banana Hobbies totally sucks..........do not buy from them their customer service is non existent. They will mess you up totally.just check all their BAD reviews! Don't be like me and get lulled in with their low prices. Manufacturers will not even list them as a place you can purchase their goods from!
@EnterpriseXI : Put the glue into the hole or slot first. With CA glue, you can get a tip extension that allows you to put glue deep inside the recess. Don't over use the glue. Putting too much glue will cause it to ooze back out and get into the hinge. There are many types of hinges, so each uses a different method of gluing. If you are using these hinges in this plane, use a toothpick to apply epoxy into the hole first, then slide the hinge into the surface. ~~robert.
oya I live in canada so do you know anywhere here I can order from? and if I just got the airframe is there room for bigger fans motors and electronics?
@LORDBATOR69ER1TIME : I believe bananaH and Toysonics ship to canada. And you can get the airframe from toysonics I believe. It's built for twin 70 and not much room for more. ~!~Robert.
@LORDBATOR69ER1TIME : Great question... On the maiden flight attempt, as it went down the runway, the front nose gear snapped, and I mean the actual plastic shaft. So when that snapped, it then ripped the rear gear out of the foam. So it never saw the air. It's on my shelf of "things to do" but I keep getting distracted with all my bigger gas planes. But one of these day, I will get to it. ~~Robert.
How was flying? Is this a good product or not ? I have the same one in its box that comes RTF but I have hear not so good comments about it. I just don't want to go through all the putting the parts together if it isn't a good airplane.
Man when are you gonna fly that thing?, I've been waiting a while, no flight video's still, come on Redbaron, you've step to the challenge on all the others.
Great vid and will save me a lot of time before buying and putting mine together. I'm just now getting back into r/c after many years. Like the new stuff a lot!
@dagtennis : This is the Receiver Ready Version. so all the electronics were installed already. If you bought the KIT version, the plane will come in more pieces allowing easier access to install the electronics.
Built-in parachute?! That's a first for me. Must have a video of that parachute in action!
I just hope you don't accidently deploy the parachute while the machine is flying in the air! But maybe it could be a good way to save an out of control plane from servo failure, battery failure etc. Better than a hard crash into the dirt.
wow just looks insanely complicated to get all those control surfaces adjusted what kind of mixing are you doing?? but sweet plane ill fly her thru you lol over my head for now ;0)
@bloodhound122 : Yeah, this is where I wish I would have done the KIT version. There is no way to turn on and off all the control surfaces. They have it all connected mechanically together. Without tearing the plane apart, I have to just fly it this way. But, I still have another day to re-think this. LOL.
@bayareaflyers : I finally found it. No glitching. This is where I have an issue with the plane. The Gear Doors are operated by a STRING attached to the gear struts. So if the string isnt the right length, the door operate horribly. The glitching you saw was simply the wind blowing on the door since it's just hanging there, attached to the gear via a string. For a great looking plane, the gear door system is weak. But the actual GEAR is GREAT.
@DanielMadrigalC : it's physically a 12cell, but only 22.2volts like a 6cell lipo. When you join batteries in Parallel, you dont alter the voltage, only the Mah. so I like to think of a parallel joined battery as a 3cell or 11.1volts. since most people think of 11.1volts as 3cells, it helps keep it straight in your head. If you join 2 3cells in parallel creating 11.1volts but with more mah, and I called it a 6cell, people would go insane. but yes, physically, it's a 12cell.
@jediknight73 : Only because they are finally bringing out the cool bigger jets, that don't cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Are the servos quality?

I am considering buying that plane. Is it quality? Is the manual written in understandable english?

when it comes to putting or replacing hinges, whats the best way to glue them in the plane without getting glue in the moving part?

so the new mig 29 from lx models has the rotary gear retracts, can you get that set up on the SU 47??
LORDBATOR69ER1TIME 8 months ago
@LORDBATOR69ER1TIME : Im sure you can. The bays for retracts are large enough. Great question. ~~Robert.

does it comes with transmiter and receiver?

@adolz1000 : No, its Receiver and Transmitter ready. Which is good. You really want a good programmable radio to work with this plane.
