Hey, so this is the S&S Backpack I purchased from the US bicycle distributor QBP (through my local bike shop). (You're maybe aware that Surly is a QBP company.) I'd say it's nice to be able to carry the case with on your travels, but the backpack is not the most comfortable to wear. Also try a Google Search for: "S&S Backpack Case"

Thanks. Yes, I'm familiar with the Surly back pack. I thought the one you used was a different model. I traveled to France with the Hard case and it was a bitch to learn how to pack it all in there. I'm looking for something soft and easily portable to use for traveling by train around Japan. The backpack is too bulky. I'm thinking of designing my own.
