@techjunkie92 - its all good...not everyone likes the effect. I really like it though, especially for this kind of song. I figure that just because people are using a cool effect to make crap music, doesn't mean that I can't try to make a good song with a cool effect. Besides, my voice isn't the greatest in the world, so if I want to sing, I could use all the help I can get! :op I'm not going to quit rapping anytime soon though, and no need for auto-tune on those kinds of tracks. respect!

@dave - haha! yeah, I feel you. But I really love the auto-tune effect. Its just been over-used in crappy pop music, but its actually a really cool sound in my opinion. I'd figured out what the effect was a long time ago, back in the Cher days, before it got popular. I just could never figure out how to replicate it. But now its easy because everyone wants to replicate it. I really like its use on Reggae & Dancehall tracks, which was my inspiration for using it on this song. It was fun to make!

@meeputube - thanks for the kind words. I was messing around, and I just really dug the effect on this song. Unfortunately, my auto-tune device is external, and my vocals ran thru it on the way to the mixer, so there isn't a version without the effect. I may re-record it with just straight vocals at some point, but probably not any time soon. Sorry. :o)
