She's beautiful and it's nice to see her featured. That blogger is just being nitpicky and wanting something to complain about. Whenever a body type of physical feature or race is being featured more the headline is always "redefining what beauty is".
western designers are only using asian models to appeal to the emerging economic markets in Asia(e.g. China, S.Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, etc..). but i find it annoying that american vogue always does editorials where they make the asian models looks less appealing(e.g. fucked up hair style and makeup which doesn't show off their real beauty)...it's like "we're acknowledging them for their $ but we don't think they're good looking enough for our western standards"....fucked up..
@SLRok i'm not asian model so why would i feel singled out..i'm just pointing out the double standards and deceit of the fashion industry...i think non-whites should start building their own fashion industry and supporting homegrown brands(whichever country you're form-e.g. Brazil, South Africa, China, Korea)..it's sad that so many non-whites look to European brands for "legitimacy" when there's so much inspiration within their own countries. no one can represent you like you can.
Also as long as them asian models gettin' booked, who cares if they hire an all-asian cast? idg how that's racist at all...
