A brillant writer does not equal a brillant performer! Paul, you need to work your performance a little bit to make it as good as reading your books is!

Funny how mentalist are bored mindless during a stage illusion show. I personally think (when presented properly) it is a very invigorating art. You seem to miss the point of psychological entertainment. People want to be astounded and find something new that just might be possible. With stage-magic you know it's all boxes and close up sleight of hand. Here you just don't know and that can have a profound reaction. DB's Oracle act I have to say was too tedious and long, though.
Mentalism and magic are both boring if not presented well. I think the hard thing with this one was the loss of audio -- made the voiceover sound dull. The biggest problem with mentalism is dressing it up: making it go from a "polite chuckle" to "No... No, that did not just happen..." Paul, you're fantastically skilled, and I'm terribly envious of your abilities, but your videos don't demonstrate much showmanship, so they're not coming across as well as they could. Brilliant trick though :)
@887934 hey pal everyone has their own style...if you think its boring thats your opinion ...doesnt mean its written in stone....mentalism is brilliant...its1 of the last areas of magic people are unsure if it is real or not. its much more entertaining than some guy on stage sawing a woman in half. think bout it ;D
hahahahah 30 minutes = page 30, 10 pounds = line 10 and Good Luck = 7. hahaha dat was so damn clever. But how da hell did he make her pick dat book!!!!!!!? or is it that all of the books have "world" in page 30, line 10 and word 7??? kinda makes me wonder
he mentioned "predicctions" to the very beginning... hehe... he's cool!.. (our mind is not only powerfull..)hehehe.. it happen all the time on the tv advertisments... he's cool! hehehe...
i think this effect is strong enough to make someones brain explode but the way that this was presented was pretty weak

This is the darn cleanest and most mind boggling booktest I've ever seen. I do assume you don't apply stooges/actors to achieve the effects.
Paul you are brilliant!

That was very cool, I think I know how you made her choose the numbers, as you say goodbye to her you say
"30 minutes, £10, Good Luck"
She then chooses page 30, line 10 and word 7.
How you make her choose that book is a mystery to me though!
