Haha, are you refering to the background noise? That could be my computer (it has a couple of pretty loud fans on it at the moment), or it is more likely my duct work in my house. Whoever built it decided to use rigid ducts which make for a very noisy air conditioning! It's pretty irritating when you're watching TV and the air kicks on and you have to turn up the volume just to hear it.
The clear cutting depends on the state. Here in California we have a large logging industry, but clear cutting is not allowed on government lands. But rather they can only do selective cutting, which is actually very healthy for the forest.
Yes, that's true. In recent years some laws have been passed which only allow certain kinds of cutting, etc. But the principle remains. On the one hand you have people doing what is beneficial because they are forced to (which means they won't do it as well), and on the other you have people doing it on their own initiative because it is in their own interests.
Because we had 28% of our average rain/snow fall. And there is a very large chunk of it that has not been thinned ever. Because we still have a lot of environmentalist who are against logging. This last year was the first year that they have increased the amount of board feet that can be logged in over 50 years. But for them not recovering, straight across the canyon from my house was a very large forest fire 20 years ago. Its growing back quite well.
And even if they were thinned, they would still burn. CA is a very dry state in the summer, we don''t get any rain fall after may. And quite often the terrain is only accessible to aircraft or small ground crews. Before you go spouting stuff off, how about you do a *LITTLE* bit of research first?
Your point about private ownership in enterprise is very interesting.

Has it occurred to you that the FED reserve and the bankers who took our gold away from us might be behind the depression?

None of the things you utter legitimize the consqeunce of greed and primal dominance, eliteism and the core of capitolism.

Good video. If a government is of the people, how can we, as the people, give the government rights that we don't have? We cant; theft is theft.

If the California forests are in such good shape, why are they burning? Burning so hot that they may not recover for a thousand years?
