Believing all things (Acts 22:14) I believe when He speaks It, It will be as from the Lord (He cares, Do You?). He did say that God said " Joseph, thou art a prophet". There can be many minor, but 1 "Word" prophet. Right or wrong, a major prophet is right anyhow. Moses smote the rock the 2nd time, which broke every type in the Bible. God still backed him up- brought water from the rock. He was corrected by God, but still "god" to the people. God invested 100% accuracy in Moses and Bro Branham.

What I cannot accept is his saying every word of Brother Branham is "Thus saith the Lord." Becauses it wasn't. That would make "God" a liar in many cases where Brother Branham exaggerated (many times throughout message). I believe Br. Branham, like Moses, was God to the people - but every word out of either of their mouths was not God speaking to us. They were also men and spoke as men.

Where did Joseph make that specific statement? If he did, I think he's closer to the Truth than most of those that don't believe that. The Bible has to be absolutely the Truth to be the written Word of God. The Spoken Word (Bible revealed) has to be the same. As with Moses, God still backs him up in mistakes. This way we can have full assurance to believe all things to restore all things. God proves these prophets with perfect accuracy, so he can judge the world by them, as in the days of Noah.

the clip from his Russian trip states his belief of the Message being the Absolute. It's funny though - we're told to say what the tapes say, and not take a man's interpretation, but is he not giving his interpretation and not saying what the tapes say? Bro. Branham said the Bible is the Absolute - that may as well have been a direct quote. So, "Thus saith the Lord..." the Bible is the Absolute. That's not what Bro. Joseph said - he said that about the Message.

According to the 7 Church Age Book, there could be minor prophets such as Agabus. It's 1 of the 5 ministries of Ephesians 4:11. Some "pastorites" act like it's "pastor only", and you gotta have 1 local- most have little vindication. It's significant that Bro. Joseph's is probably the only ministry vindicated by "God said",or Thus Saith the Lord, on the tapes. I disagree with Bro. Joseph on many things- but I reverence him as God's prophet. Bro. Branham liked a MAN that just didn't have to agree.

I sure have nothing to say against Bro Joseph being a prophet. Malachi 4 has come and gone and his message is the wedding garment. I just pray that people on both sides of the "Joseph prophet" fence keep right in heart and with Scripture.

Amen, brother, and I think we should love and try to help both sides- by this will all men know we are Christ's disciples. We can only help as we are on the firm foundation of faith in ALL the Word. We defeat Satan the same way Christ did- with "It is also written...". 400 prophets of Ahab were scripturally right- Ramoth-Gilead was given for them to take- but they should have listened to the Word of the major prophet, Elijah. I can't trust in my thinking about the Bible- that's sinking sand.
