Blackwater has power that the average citizen cannot even imagine. They work joint ops with all four branches of the US military and occasionally britian. The US gov. has been paying them millions of dollars every year since the reagan administration and there not going to stop. They have bases on 6 continents; massing an army of around 20 to 25 thousand elite special ops soliders form all over the world.

Your logic is very flawed. BW has a large company and many contracts, their future rests on many things - not the Iraq war. They train police depts in tactical response, driving, school crisis response, and they have many other long standing military contracts such as training Navy personnel, and they have a large weapons target & training business

of course blackwater will be fine, they still haven't been able to try blackwater in military or civil court. They are the equivelant to the private armies of Nazi Germany, and Facist Italy during WW2; and will turn on American civilian if Government/Corporate agenda needs be. as for the six major brodcast companies, in which control all media, they only have two tasks. Get ratings ,like you said, but more importantly to protect their assets. Which they do a hell of a job.

The last I heard about Blackwater was that they were getting sued by former employees and families of deceased employees. Blackwater was even being sued by military families of deceased soldiers since Blackwater was involved in crashes/accidents as the result of negligence.
