I bought this 45 along with Light my Fire by the Doors with babysitting money in 1969 when i was 12. Needless to say my taste in music was at both ends of the spectrum at the time. The Cowsills on AM radio, and the Doors on FM which was fairly new at the time except for classical music. We've come a long way since then. I still enjoy all kinds of music. I've always thought music was a gift and you shouldn't narrow yourself to just one type. Life is short. Explore!!!

This song must be heard with headphones. Like so many recordings in the 60's, the microphones were spread around to pick up instruments and vocals separately allowing the listener to enjoy a fantastic stereo experience. Growing up in the 60's was a blessing-America was going to the moon, muscle cars, music, and girls were amazing. It was an amazing and happy time when everyone was growing, experimenting, and loving life.
