  • its really up to you you can do it on week 3 or week 4. By the way i sretch my relaxers now and i can go as long as 12 weeks

  • u look rlly pretty! luv the videos :]

  • THNX

  • Hey I have a quick question. Do you have a license because I notice you are using a lot of Keracare products by Avlon (Affirm)? If not how do you purchase them without a license? I would like to purchase some products.

  • I purchase Kera Care from my local Walmart Beauty salon (Smart Style). I'm in South Atlanta (Jonesboro, GA). I have also seen the Kera Care in Target. CHI products are also in Target here.

  • Many high end products say that you have to be a licensed beautition to buy some of these products. I have the Motions CPR conditioner that says that you have to be a proffessional but you can get them anywhere. Most of these products are sold at sally's (if you have one near your location). But Pretty much any beauty supply store:)

    hope this helps:)

  • i am not licensed my aunt is and she gets them for me or u can go to j.c. penney's

  • Hey cool vid with some lovely tips, but what do you do for a six week process or longer? I don't perm my hair every four weeks b/c it will break off.

  • hey yall i dont mean any harm yall or to the beautiful person who owns this channel but bantu is the WORST perm i have ever used it burns so damn bad and leaves painful marks.............but if it works for you girl do ya thang

  • I'm confused by this tutorial, especially since the models hair does not appear healthy. Any hair should not be relaxed every 4-6 weeks.

  • I totally concur with you on this issue. This video is a bit absurd.

  • Simply because her hair isn't long doesn't mean it's not healthy. I don't think her hair looks unhealthy at all. I do think that her regimen is a little excessive though.

  • how are you doing and how is the hair regimen coming along? post pics....

I have been using kera k, and i had to get a major hair cut. Im pssd...but we shall see. so far it really hasnt grown much! yikes have a great holiday!

  • Where do you get your Kera Care products?

  • sally's here ib lake charles

  • Hi Laura,

when you do a saran wrap treament do you wrap and saran it while still wet

  • no after it is dried and flat ironed

  • sry, i'm confused you relax your hair every four weeks? cuz you said that the 1st week you relax your hair and then the 4th week you prepare for the relaxer with a protein treatment......and what do you mean you've been using the 2 step protein treatment for 3 weeks? good regimen tho!

  • sorry i've been using the two-step protein treatment for about 3 monthe which equals three times. every four weeks meaning i do a regimen from week 1 to week 4 then start all over i guess it equals out to about every 5 weeks, sorry again

  • OH! and i also forgot to mention that my hair has about 3.5-4 inches of new growth,i have not had a perm for 1 year now. ANYWAY i was just wondering would that cause my hair to break off so easily, because i herd that when you have two kinds fo textures on your hair your permed ends will more than likely break ALL off!!!!!! i thought maybe i could just restore my ends and my permed ends will not fall off. because i planning on in about 9 years to get a perm so i can REALLY have long hair.

  • you should watch my relaxer videos, they have some really good info, from the knowledge that i have, i have found that relaxers are not for your ends especially if they are already relaxed, relaxers are for your new growth. contact me for more info, but i suggest a relaxer like the affirm or something sith butter or shea butter, like the one i have used for a long time called bantu w/shea butter.

  • no,no,no your not getting what im trying to say!!!PLEASE-read my 1st. comment that began with "im just curios".

  • oh ok well i apologize i got it all confused

  • gurl its okay i did not mean it like that anyway(lol).but yeah!!!dose it make your hair thinner than before?????????????????????????

  • that's ok girl just getting my mind together, YOU KNOW, buti dont belive it makes your hair any thinner, i will just get it where you want it to be, if you maintain your hair on a regular basis, it should really be growing like you want and you shouldn't have any problems with breakage, remember to moisturize the ends though.

  • thank you so much(from the bottom!)LOL

  • no problem

  • im just curios, but does the aphogee TREATMENT make your hair feel/look thinner than before you did the TREATMENT? because,i did mine on friday ,and after i washed it out i noticed that my hair was really thin and when i slightly pulled on like 4 or 5 strains of hair(slightly now!!! not tugging or pulling hard!!!)like 2 easily came out AGIN AND AGIN !!! im so disapointed,i was so hyped about it.PLEASE HELP ME, AND TELL ME WHAT I DID WRONG,OR HAS THIS EVER HAPPEND TO YOU OR HAVE YOU HERD OF THIS ?

  • did you use the balancing moisturizer right after the protein treatment? When used the Protein treatment did you let it set in your hair until it got hard then rinsed, towel blot, then followed up with the balancing moisturizer? I was just wondering because I never heard of someone's hair getting thinner because of it, and I hope you're not combing your hair when the protein treatment is in your hair because you're not supposed to do that :)

  • i did everything that the bottle told me to do.and no i did not manipulated when the treatment was in my hair!!!now that i think about it.The only thing that i didnt do is towl blot my hair and THEN put on the b-moisturizer.i think i just went on ahead and put in the B-moisturizer when my hair was wet.then i waited 2-3 minutes!!!IDK what i done wrong, but i really noticed that my hair was very thin and was even comming out MORE THAN BEFORE.

  • aww i'm sorry sweetie, sounds like you did everything right, If I were you I wouldn't use it again, if it did more damage then good, ya know?

  • thank u so much for the help though :)

  • your welcome, and God bless you!

  • God bless you too.-God is so good right?:)

  • All the time :)

  • I have never seen the Aphogee Essential oils.....no fair lol

  • hey it works very well too.... you should try it i got mine from sally's

  • how long do you keep in the kear care conditoner

  • the back og the bottle on the humecto creme conditioner says 15 min so that's USUALLY WHAT I DO

  • well fortunately for me i feel that not everyone has to have long lustrous hair as you stated, healthy hair comes in different styles lengths and testures so i appreciate your opinion but not everyone agrees

  • Just because a person has long hair doesn't mean you have healthy hair. Laura's regimen is rather good and she is not giving out any bad information.

  • THANKS SO MUCH U KEEP ME INSPIRED

  • Sounds good....you might want to be careful doing the 2 step protein treatment and the 2 minute treatment...you only need one or the other in a one week period..you dont want to have protein overload...

  • yeah i know the keratin 2 minute reconstuctor is more like a conditioner, and it really moisturizes and helps your hair grow, but i only use the protein 2 step treatment every 4 weeks right before my relaxer, so it kind of evens out

  • the 2 minute reconstuctor is a light protein treatment, it isn't a regular conditioner. So be careful...

  • What type of dye do you use? How often do you dye your hair?

  • bigen hair dye powder is the type of hair dye that i use, abd i only dye my hair with that every 8 weeks between the actual dying process i use a simple jet black hair rinse to keep the color in. by using a dye too often u can break our hair and i onl use dark colors cause, bringing your hair from a dark to a high gold or brown color can strip it.

  • Your hair is pretty but don't your arms get tired from putting all that stuff in your hair?

  • yeah sometimes it does but, just to hear people say it's pretty and while at work people asking who does your hair it is all worth it.

  • Thank u for the shout out honey! Keep up the good work!

  • Two questions: How long have you been sticking to your regimen? and Do you have a hair length goal?
