  • I made this recipe with left-overs potaoes and added Fritos Corn Chip crumbs and paprika the the bread crumbs and they turned out great! Thanks for the Recipe!

  • I like this recipe because it is baked rather than deep fried Thank you

  • Hi. These look really great! Yum.

  • @ChaChaDave I make these regularly as something different for the side dish. You can season them up as you like too depending on what is being served with them. cheers, KtC

  • some christmas cookies recipes please please:)

  • Festive Short Bread Cookies. I think they were from LK last Christmas. Check back about a hundred videos or so. cheers! KtC

  • never thought of that thanks man, hmm i wonder......(ding kiling ding out space)thanks again weee!

  • The potatos should be cold to work with first. That should stiffen them up. However, just put a bit of the bread crumbs in the potatoes or tsp. of flour. cheers! KtC

  • I used to make this alot, but I mixed the portato with ground beef and dip the potato ball in the eggyolk mixture then deep fry them, yummy

  • No doubt the deep fry work on the taste (and colour too). I have been getting a bad rap on some of my frying vids, so I thought I would show the oven bake.

I usually put some bacon (prepared) pieces in there. I have tried the beef too. Great tips! (more deep frying soon)cheers, KtC

  • Great for my kids because they hate potatoes SAYYYYYYYYYYYY WHAT, I know right how can you hate potatoes well my kiddies do. This is just a great way to mask the vegetable thanks i'll defintley try this recipe 5 stars.....

  • Must have potato to survive :) Yeah, mine can be fussy at times too. Most kids love them though. Don't forget the salt or they may toss them at you :) lol

Have a great day, cheers! KtC

  • i jus had mash last night aswell!! thank yooou

  • Mash potatoes are great! yum. cheers! KtC

  • Good idea. Never tried it. I usually make them as pancakes and fry them, like ladyofthesummer.

  • I too have enjoyed them that way also. Perhaps in the future I can show my spin on that too. Thanks Mary, KtC

  • THE BAD PART!

is that it takes me 1 tiring hour to mash the potatoes,

    i has nothing

    I USE A FORK 8D

  • ANY jar, can etc from the fridge, whatever, will make a good smasher. Pour in the milk & butter and whip 'em up with a couple of forks held in 1 hand. I do it all the time. U ever see a wine bottle rolling pin?

  • Hahaha! Hilarity. I'm sure it's effective though. ;)

  • If paper says it works it probably will! cheers, KtC

  • Great tip! Why am I not surprised you know these things? lol

    cheers mate1 KtC

  • Try papercuts tip. You can get a hand masher at the dollar store ;)

Make sure the potats are cooked well and they will break up easy. cheers! KtC

  • that looks so good! yum!

  • There pretty good and you can mix up with your favourite seasoning. cheers! KtC

  • Oh wow, I just made this today, except I made them pancake-shaped, deep fried and I added Mrs. Dash seasoning to the breadcrumbs. Delicious stuff :D

  • Yes, that is a common method in N.A.

Have you tried (seen) my Salt Substitute vid. ? Similar to the Mrs. Dash (and homemade). I haven't tried it in this recipe but will add some next time to try. Great tip, cheers! KtC

  • wow! who woulda thunk it :D

  • I thunk like those frozen 'tator tots' they sell. The recipe is quite common in some parts of the globe. Thunks Jak :) cheers! KtC
