The original version is my all time favourite tune by a very long way. I thought I'd hate a cover. Actually, I don't dislike this. I do prefer the original and as Justine says, it's not the best tune to show off a vocal range, nor for Yvonne Yaney. But, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery as they say :-) (the mix not the vocal - perhaps your point, why cover it?) To pick out this '94 tune and cover it makes me think it's more legendary than I had imagined.
@djjoff I think you will have to speak with Flip and Fill and Clubland records to air your views. Unfortunately I do not have any say in the songs I am asked to session. I just get my fee and its up to them the mix. I cant say Its the best song to show my vocals off for a starter. Would love to hear some of your tracks Do you sing too? justine
