  • Bob and Jeff met in 1999, and made an album together in 2002 in Australia.

  • Bob started playing in 1960. Jeff is 37 or 38 years old. Do the math.

  • Jeff Lang taught this guy how to play. He's not as good as Jeff but his shirts are louder.

  • mate you have a son called Jeff Lang just letting you in if you wont to find him!!

  • sponge bob square pants song

  • Fantastic eh! listen to Jerry Douglas if you've never heard him too,,,,,,,,,

  • The collection of hawaian shirts is almost as interesting as the music!

  • That was incredible!

  • Sounds like spongbob square pants song!

  • Bob's the man when it comes to slide guitar.

  • just discovered this guy today. cant believe i went so long without hearing this. best slide i've heard in a long time.

  • This is too amazing for words...

  • Bob Brozman is so much more than a guitar hero. He'd probably be offended if u called him that. He is a "musician, anthropologist, anarchist" in his own words. Bob, thanx for being Bob.

    Oh and everyone:

    DONT FEED THE TROLL

  • i love his shirt :D eheh

  • well done

  • I like good ol' Bob B. as much as anyone, but he tends to overplay sometimes to the point were it gets very self indulgent. This video showcases one of those instances perfectly. IMO

  • Nice playing as usual. Thanks for sharing.

  • Look like arzachelek need to go back to indie school to learn how to be cool.

  • I think I recognize the tune, it's probably an early version of "I wanna play the blues so bad but I can't - vol. 456" or "brozman's boring as usual jam - vol. 45312"

  • Get a life, or listen to something else, what a lame comment! You obviously didn't even listen to this, it is not anything to do with blues, its Hawaiian.

  • well i don't care dude, i refer to that "artist" as a "blues poser", cause in many points in his career (?) he tried to teach and play the blues, which is ridicilous.. BTW that hawaiian stuff is as pointless as his pseudo-blues playing

  • strc psrt skrz krk, arzie!

  • @puppyuncle

    No it's not

  • douchebag. This isnt blues.

I wont waste my time on a pubescent pre-teens confused rants. Dont you have some masturbating to do over at google images?

    Tosser.

  • thestruggle you poser, I'm the same age as you, how come up you have charley patton's "shake it and break it" together with "blues poser" in your favs?

I know you mastubate over some jonas bros photos

  • troll.....

  • thats funny! you're 22 yet you act like a 14 year old! good one!

"how come up you have charley patton.."

    HOW COME UP YOU HAVE?

    what a retard.

  • LMAO!!

  • fantastico

  • I never get sick of this.

  • Anyone who say s"gay" in this type of context is just an ignorant fool, probably a racist as well. You are not worthy of your keyboard, fool!

  • My comment was a ironic statement to the comment of user Arzachelek ("I've already got sick after seeing his bearded-gay-wizard face"). I thought that was clear (btw that's why I called him "Mr. Arschleck", that sounds similar to Arzachelek and is the german term for "ass lick"), if not, I really have to apologize. I AM against antisemitism AND catholic homophobia.

  • @phjost

    I'm sorry ...

  • like erik mongrain

  • nope, the other way around at most

  • Grande!!!!!!!!

  • GREAT!!!

  • Grerat!!!

  • We've heard of National treasures. Here's an International treasure that plays Nationals.

  • HE IS DARING AND SUCCESSFUL AT WHAT HE DOES. HE USED TO PLAY A LONG TIME AGO IN A LITTLE NIGHT CLUB CALLED THE WOODSHED IN FELTON AND WAS JUST AS MESMERIZING AS HE IS TODAY. HE USE TO WORK AT UNION GROVE MUSIC STORE AT ABOUT THAT TIME. I CAME IN THERE AND WAS LOOKING FOR A RESONATOR AND HE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO HELP ME MAKE A CHOICE. I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS BOB B. I ASKED HIM IF HE KNEW HOW TO PLAY THE GUITAR. FROM THE FIRST SLIDE I KNEW. IMAGINE HOW I FELT AFTER ASKING HIM THAT QUESTION.

  • Sounds like a medley to me... nice!

  • I'm watching.... But I'm still like... What the heck! How'd he do that!

  • im addicted to this song.

  • Fantastic!

  • Bob plays almost exclusively in the Hawaiian open G: DGDGBD, called "taropatch" tuning in Hawai'i.

  • never said it was a dobro mate!!! but still amazing playing!!!

  • the poster has this in the description, though.

"bob brozman on the dobro slide."

  • this isn't "dobro". "Dobro" refers to a guitar brand or, now, a style of guitars, not to a style of play. Bob's playing in his lap but he's playing a National Tricone not a dobro. Rent, buy or netflix his Live in Germany dvd. It's rhythm-intensive.

  • Wow!

  • this guy is one of the most inspirational guitar players I have ever heard.. a true gem:)

  • this guy is good but listen to a dobro player called jerry Douglas he is the master!!!

  • No doubt JD is awesome. But he is NOT a Hawaiian player.

  • what tuning is this in

  • the tune is 'Moana Chimes' from hi 'Slide au go-go' album. thanks for posting!

  • slack key by a master!

Vic, thanks for posting this gem!

  • master at work

  • Seems to be around 1995 or 1996....
