oh and does anyone know if you have to replace anything when you use it? (i.e. for the No!no! hair removal system, you have to replace the hot blades every few months).
I purchased mine today from for $118.00 and free shipping. I can't wait to get it. My daughter will use it for acne and I will use the red beam for anti aging.
@meeri89 Good question. I would contact TRIA Beauty directly and see if they do. Interestingly enough, they just came out with a new acne photo light therapy kit that completes with ANSR. Might need to test that out!!
I still love the ANSR, though I'm not using it at the present moment. First, I just used the red light and then had some acne issues. Within 30-ish days of using both the blue and red light treatments, no more acne. I stopped using it a few months ago. I will pick it back up next month for the red light treatment. I believe ANSR gives a money back guarantee if you're not happy.
Thank you! I would not advise using it on your face. It wasn't made for that purpose so I'd be hesitant to try that. Every other place on your body ... go for it!
i reallyyyyyyyyy need someones help i don't know which one is better tria or silk'n hair removal it seems people like silk'n better because it covers a bigger skin area is that true ?????
If you are diligent about using it every 3 weeks, there is an amazing difference. If you get behind (like I have), the progress comes to a halt. You have to keep going for at least 8-10 sessions.
I have a question.. I have bad acne.... And l8ly some of them have been going away, but now I am seeing that alot of the redness on my face is acne scars... Does the beam get rid of scars also?
I cannot speak to ANSR's effectiveness in decreasing scars left behind from acne. My recommendation would be to reach out directly to the company via email - questions (at) ansr (dot) com.
I guess I can't cut and paste urls in the comments. To answer your question, I haven't yet tested the Rio Laser. Sounds like it's a convenient little at-home hair removal system.
I am so sorry to hear about your difficulties. Wondering if it was faulty, as I don't feel a thing on level 1. Everyone's pain threshold is different, so it's hard to tell. I hope you are able to connect with the company. I can't imagine they'd be too busy to tend to customer service. Where would you be, after all, without good customer service. Good luck to you.
It's a rechargeable battery. I found that you have to charge the TRIA more when you are on a higher setting. For example, when I use setting 3, I can get through one leg, then need to charge the TRIA before doing the second leg.
sounds good, but please keep us updated cause you seem to be the regular person that I wanna hear from not the ppl who sell it...so good luck and stay in touch!
Hi. I really appreciate your review of these two products. I found you while searching for Tria and Silk'n reviews. I was wondering if you are going to do a review of the Silk'n home laser hair remover. Sephora now offers the Silk'n SensEpil for $499. I'm trying to find out which is the better value and is more effective in permanent hair removal. Thanks!
I have not tested the Silk'n home laser yet. I will be sure to let you know if I do in the very near future. In the meantime, check into the return policies of both.
I will see if I can find out any information on how it rates compared to the Tria.
How is this different from the Tanda Light Therapy kit? Why is this only half the price of the Tanda? Why is the ANSR not FDA approved? What is the light range of the blue light (needs to be 400-430nm range to be effective)? What is the light range of the red (needs to be 630-660nm to be effective)?
I have not personally tried the Tanda, but the ANSR competes with the Evis MD, Tanda, Omnilux and the Baby Quasar. The ANSR is remarkable value. The blue light waves are 410 to 450 nm and the red photo light wavelengths are 630 to 660nm. As to FDA approval, I am not sure the answer to that. You may want to reach out to the company directly.
That doesn't make sense...the LED power don't come in a range. The lab test that was done used 415nm (blue) and 633nm (red). Those are absolute numbers. The Tanda has 414nm (blue)and 660nm (red). But I did my own research, ANSR has 430nm (blue) and 660nm (red) .
Wouldn't one be more sure that the device would work better if the numbers are closer to the ones used in the lab test?
Actually, the light does more for me than the products the kit comes with. In fact, I exclusively use the photo light treatment. I was diagnosed with adult onset acne 2 months ago and the blue light has saved my face. I am utterly amazed. I feel like I need to do a whole new video since I didn't use the blue light before.
I am not being paid to promote these products. The laser hair removal at home system is working ... but it takes time so you can't expect immediate results. The photo light therapy has definitely firmed my skin ... but I have only tested it for anti-aging. I have heard great things about the product for acne. There is also a 30-day money back guarantee on the product.
If the FDA haven't approved it, I would say that it's because it actually does work.

Do you think the red LED would diminish the appearance of nasolabial folds? How about under-eye bags?

Can TRIA work on men's heavy shin hair?

I would imagine it would take more sessions for a man's leg versus a woman's.

I purchased one of these a few weeks ago for $795. Returned it two weeks later. Was painful, even on lowest setting, never got used to it.
Sent the company two emails asking for advice, never got a response - they must be selling so many they didn't have time to answer. Cannot recommend
