If we are to throw crazy theories around, then here is mine: Iran has nuclear facilities (maybe peaceful, maybe not) and the UFO's are scanning those facilities. The same has been reported in all nuclear capable countries. The US knows about UFO's and because they do, they have reason to correlate the UFO presence in Iran to nuclear activity. For reference, an UFO was reported shortly *after* the Chernobyl accident and at nuclear plants in the US. UFOs are on top of non-proliferation.
