  • 0:52 I saw Styx open for Aerosmith in '77, not on TV, or in a magazine, or a video. They were real, I'll tell you, I went home w/ plugged ears & the idea that I wished I was older & prettier. Styx played very good & Grand Illusion is their best record imo. But Aerosmith made any subsequent rock concert a cakewalk. Very different bands that night. Didn't talk much about that concert later, but I remember more than most others who were quite wasted. Thanks, Styx, for being the opening band!
