I think JoJo is absolutely right! Bear stuff like many other so called "gay cultures and subcultures" are only conducive to fucking. The bear scene here in Italy has become really self indulgent and incestuos to the point that in some venue whole areas are reserved to "bears only". It is kind of sad in my opinion. And JoJoo is simply divine!
Okay, seriously... As a gay man who has gone to bear events, I can honestly say that I've encountered more than a tolerable share of snobbery than I have at any other type of gay event. If you don't fit the physical description, people look right through you.
Bear community is full of drama but every community is! The thing is not about being close to who you want to fuck but being related ALSO, inside bear community you can talk with people with the same tastes, not only abut sex but about all the culture related to bear community! Bears like a ot of things i like, more things in common more probabilities to make a friend! My opinion!
