  • I have this but my tap will not work, do i need batteries for this to work?

  • @TheCgk1 yes :D there is an adorable little filter that it comes with

  • @PunkRockCovers noo.. The batteries work seperately for the clock and the USB is for the filter and the light

  • is there a filter or not?

  • Can you get everything to work with no batteries just usb

  • Since the tank is nano-sized you should put a living plant there (if you add fish there). It produces oxygen+it will help the water stay cleaner. I bought this tank and I'm gonna put one Betta there. Or maybe I'll put few cherry shrimps.. hmm. I'll probably change the water partially 2 or 3 times a week. This is so small tank that it needs more than 1 change per week...

QUESTION for St0ne221: How many litres/gallons this tank really holds? They say it's only about 1.5 quart but it looks bigger.

  • Hi, are these the real dimensions? 240 mm x 90 mm x 140 mm. I just can't believe that it's 3.5 inches wide. Can you measure it and display the dimensions in inches to confirm? Thanks man.

  • is it ideal for seamonkeys? which fish would be the most ideal for this aquarium?

  • @shfqrkhn NEON TETRAS or BETAS!

  • how do u take care of fish the longest i ever kept a fish is for 1 week and how can u get rid of that smell

  • poor fishes...

  • @PauluaPaul my thoughts exactly

  • so can you use batteries for this instead of the usb?

  • @Sinnir3 Well you need double A batteries for the clock to work and all the different features, the USB is used to run the filter so the water keeps going

  • how long did your fish survive in this? and how often do u change the water?

  • @vanquish101 Your fish can last a long time depending on the fish. If you get fishes a little bigger then tetras they can last awhile but changing the water i'll have to say you change it about 1 once a week

  • you think I'd be able to put some shrimp in there?

  • @vanquish101 i don't know if that would be the best environment for them but it's worth a try!

  • I would like to order one from thinkgeek and plug in an adapter, just as you said.

However, can you tell me how much volts it runs on, so I can find the right adapter? :O

    Thank you :)

    Lovin' it ;)

  • @JonasEldin well i don't have the box anymore telling me how much bolts it runs on and it gives no information on the actual product but i can tell you a good adapter to buy. The USB Fish Aquarium comes with a usb cable so all you need is a "belkin power adapter model # f8z121" and i'll post the link on a different post

  • @St0ne221 Thank you for the very quick answer :) To bad it doesn't help me though I live in Sweden and we have other sockets and volts we're playing with here :P

But again. Thank you very much :D

  • @JonasEldin ah man I'm sorry. If i find any more information on the product I'll message you alright? Thanks again for watching!

  • @St0ne221 Thanks again :)

    Thumbs up ;)

  • Oh and the ones you saw in the video are flame tetras.. which was a bad choice haha.

  • thank you so much i also saw on thinkgeek and was looking for a vid or review but nothing then i saw this thx so much im gonna order BTW what fish can u put in it ? i subbed and thumbs up :)

  • @mllmTECH I would recommend something bigger then a flame tetra . The smaller they are, the more likely they will fit through the cracks of the aquarium and get stuck under the plate were the filter is. Then you would have to pore the water out in a bucket and open the plate just to get that little fish. I never tried a gold fish before but if you find a small one that might be better. But don't get more then 1 gold fish. They don't work well together and thanks for subbing! :]
