This criminal was injured as a result of a dumb USA sobriety test, and the officer didnt even offer any assistance!

A simple quick breath test would have determined if a drunk driver requires an evidential blood alcohol test. Sobriety field tests are a waste of time and only allow cops the opportunity to humiliate. This wouldnt happen in the free world.

Well the guy can probably beat the rap now because all he has to do is refuse a blood test. In fact he can only be bloodtested if arrested. He can't be arrested because he hasn't failed the field sobriety test. He can't be given the FST because he's concussed and would fail anyway. Finally the cop is obliged to call a medical team to take the guy for treatment. He's actually lucky he fell.

we live in a time and place where justice has different meaning to different people. However, regardless of the dumb drunk guy's action, no one is allowed to teach this guy a lesson except the judicial system like a court, judge and jury. Now, why is that? Why is that the system does not allow the Cop to administer the punishment?

The reason is education, training and know how. How many of you been stopped for speeding? Suppose the cop gets pissed off and decides to teach you a lesson. Is he trained to know if you ve done something wrong? No. Should we allow him to judge and decide the faith of others? Absolutely not. Beleive me from experience, you dont want a cop decide your faith. especially while during a stop. You will be hurt. The cops job is to cite the violation and then let the court decide if the law was broken.

I was pulled over in December, 2006 for having dim headlights-due to poor battery power. He gave me a field sobriety test after I told him that I was coming from a Christmas Party for work. I told him that I had a couple of DisArrono on the rocks, and he said that I had failed the tests, which I did, I confess, but my balance on one foot is an issue for me. After being arrested, having my car impounded, and being taken to jail, I was given a breathilizer test. I blew a 0.00 and was released.

If the cop wasn't such a dreamboat, it probably would have been an awful experience. I was completely cooperative during the entire procedure, and he thanked me several times. I had seen enough episodes of COPS to know "just cooperate" with what the cop asks of you. It's unpleasant, but it will go much more smoothly.
