if Justin says it's about his best friend, then that's what it's about. He wouldn't outright lie to everyone. If he didn't want to say what the song's really about, then he didn't have to say anything and let people choose what they want to believe. Obviously, Justin didn't want people taking the song the wrong way, so he told people the truth.

Yeah, I thought so too. The first time I heard this song from his new album I was thinking "this is about britney!" And he just proved at the grammy b/c the camera thingy he did at the end reminded me of Britney's show: chaotic (or something like that.) haha...
At first I didn't like the song or the actual video but after hearing it several times I love this song!!!!
