  • i only clicked this because i have the same last name as him......

  • lol... its harder to breath hold without filled lungs but possible and makes your breathhold even better after a few times... :)

  • Comment removed

  • Il fait comment avec la pression dans ses oreilles ?

  • @KillerBeBop94 Yeah, I wonder how he does that, too! I can`t go over 3 meters because it hurts so much!

  • 0:07 someone drowns xD

  • Chuck Norris could stay ther for ever...

  • make sure you dont have 20% body fat or you stay up...

  • What is "to breathe"?

  • omg, their stomach is like, being crushed XD

  • A QUESTION, I HAVE TRIED TO BE STANDING IN A POOL AT THE DEEP AND THEN YOU GO UP HOW DOES THAT?

AH AND ANOTHER QUESTION THAT GO UP OR DOWN?

    Anyone know .....?

  • Mon dieu, i know that its youtube and people are always experts on the topic BUT please internet is full of information on free divers training, post your questions in yahoo. Its too hard for some to simply comment the video, just the video, like it or not, that's it.

  • lol

  • how does he not float up to the top?

  • @BananaAnna99 His lungs are empty at this point.

  • @koyamashun うんん僕も!!

  • i dont see weights belts on them how do they sink so quick and stay on the bottom?

  • @lucvaudar : with empty lungs no air to keep you up, so you drown... !

  • @lucvaudar Balls of steel

  • @lucvaudar

under a certain depth the pressure is so high that put you down without swimming or anything else.

  • @lucvaudar they have heaey balls

  • @dirtmas heavy*

  • @lucvaudar Anything above five metres, you float upwards and anything below you sink because you become denser than the water

  • @subsonix1932 How can you become denser than water? Water stays the same no matter what, its just the pressures acting on it. Therefore as you go deeper the water pressure increases meaning you should actually float better in deep waters because the water is so dense. . .Just sayin

  • @oveycha well i dno about denser than water but yu do sink below 5 metres, it may be because of the weight of water bearing down on you or it may be because as the air in your body compresses, you become denser.

  • @subsonix1932 hmm maybe, anyways thanks for taking the comment well. some people see it as an attack

  • @oveycha yh i had to think about an appropriate response,

  • @lucvaudar balls of steel

  • @lucvaudar noob

  • it helps that he is lean with next to no body fat.

  • Oxygen is for sissies!

  • Empty lungs, huh? then how do you stay underwater for longer periods?

  • @spyxter : It's a training method. Not used to hold your breath as long as with full lungs, but lots of top freedivers train with empty lungs. It simulates deep pressure, and forces the body to get used to higher oxygen debt.

  • @Zecheer Thats called a dive reflex. all mammals have it for birth.

  • @Zecheer i was watching a doco on freediving and it said that below 10m you sink even with full lungs. i dont understand the science but it was demonstrated

  • @Zecheer Epic!

  • @Zecheer Be sure to tell everyone that this sort of training is extremely dangerous and should only be performed by trained and well-observed divers.

  • @Zecheer Some tuff shit.

  • @Zecheer

he sink cause he is in a fresh water pool and there is no density to keep him up.no need weight to go down.sea water is thicker and u need weight belt

  • @wasilias You don't know what your talking about. You don't sink in fresh water with full lungs either...

  • @wasilias wow you're insane

  • Comment removed

  • he doesn't stay too much in there..for long periods they use weights.

  • @spyxter . It isnt that hard. Go to your ENT doctor, and have your ear drums pierced because of constant infections. Now, wait for 2 weeks for the blood to dry. Next grab a full body john suite of any 7mil suit will do. Next, load up with about 25- 30 lbs.lbs of lead in each suite.. Larger chubbys take 50 llbs.Suits are very bouant. and need lead.. Forget fins, you wont need them. Walk up to a massive body of water, grab camera and slowly dive. Best Photo . You best pictures await you.

  • @yynnmmbb as well as death :D

  • how in the fu ck does he just sink? I can't sink for shit.

  • @crazyjorge2111 Try to empty your lungs... air is what prevent you from sinking...with empty lung you'll sink like a stone... ;)

  • @ImStillDancing thats what i always do

  • @ImStillDancing Really? And how do you empty your lungs?

  • @pichita2277 Well, since I'm French it's going to be difficult for me to explain in English... you float because of the air in your lungs so, before going underwater (or even underwater), you breathe out => your lungs are empty => you sink... Did I made myself clear ? Not sure ;)

  • @ImStillDancing Although I'm not English too (I'm Greek), I did understand. Thank you! :)

  • @crazyjorge2111 just empty your lungs before you dive and you'll sink like him.

  • @GhOsTRiDeROwN thanks for the repeating the same thing. I already know but I can only sink down like 10 feet and then i start to rise.

  • Pro then. :D

  • Didn't even equalize on the way down?

  • @SerratedAMG : Guillaume uses a hand free equalizing technique, Voluntary Opening of Eustachian Tubes. As he is highly experienced with this, he actually performs very deep freedives (over -100m) without hands to equalize.

  • @Zecheer people can pop their own ears...... but descending fast in water you are putting pressure on the eardrum quicker than you can pop them often times this guy is no joke when it comes to free diving

  • @boravw1 : Well he is several times freediving world champion, it sure helps ! ;)

  • @SerratedAMG the mask probably lets him do it hands free but zecheer may be right too.
