  • har han knut Hamsun i norsk no :D

  • This film was magnificent, fortunately did make a nice adaption after the novel. I just saw today that Hollywood made a version set in LA about a "sensitive writer" and it has to do with producers and well in short IT MADE ME FUCKING SICK. Why can't Hollywood and it's wealth of garbage leave beautiful art alone??? I do not intend to see the new film of course, but this was brilliant and Per Oscarsson was perfect for this role.

  • I m really sorry, that i never heard anything about this film. Seems to be really good. Maybe it was not shown in Germany. I will try to find a dvd anywhere.

  • hva sier han 2:30? Det er faen ikke en stykk man får beholde?

  • Hvil i fred, Per.

  • RIP Per Oscarsson.

  • I sincerly hope that the news about Per Oscarson's farm burning down doesn't include him (now 83) and his wife, the fact about their farm is confirmed, unfortunately!

  • @diddywahdaddy

    Guess it did.

    Rest in Peace.

  • I absolutely love this movie. Knut Hamsun is one of my all time favorite authors.

  • This movie is magnificent! Definitely deserves more attention. I'd recommend watching it after reading the book ("Sult"; hunger) by Hamsun. Highly recommended to fans of John Fante, Kafka, Camus, Strindberg.

  • Great acting, great film. One of the best adaptations of book to film that I have ever seen. Thanks for putting this up.

  • Per Oscarsson rocks.

Can't believe hollywood butchered the novel after a great film like this.

  • fabulous film alas forgotten
