You are one of the very few that calls it a "crate engine" which is correct. Alot of people call it a motor. There is a difference. An engine is "internal combustion" and motors are either electrical or vacuum. I know people have heard the 4 famous words in racing "Gentlemen Start Your Engines", Not "Gentlemen Start Your Motors". There is a reason
That is the price if you pick it up. We can deliver or ship reasonably though. Lots of ways to upgrade it. Call me at 217-827-3094 to talk it over. Thanks, Greg
Pretty mild. Zero decked with flat tops for a 9.8:1 compression ratio. Erson hydraulic flat tappet cam. Lame mid 70's 76cc heads. Top of the line NCP machine work and blueprint assembly. It was dynoed with an HEI distributor and a 750 Holley on a Victor Jr. intake. What's been done to yours and I'll make an educated guess. Or just bring it out and we'll slap it on the old dyno and find out for real.
well my motor is a 4 bolt main 350 from summit racing bored .30 over with a compcam 280H with a .486 max lift. stock 73 350 heads ported and polished, flat topped pistons, low rise stock iron truck intake maifold and a 750 cfm q-jet,HEI distributer. thats all for now. the q-jet is off a 74 vette and ported and jetted.
