Man SEED's battles are better than the ones from Destiny, mostly because of the whole role reversal and poor character development and "I don't know who I'm fighting for" bull, but it was just fun watching these guys terrorize Kira and going nuts at each other. Back then I actually cared if Kira was gonna get killed but ever since Destiny, I couldn't care less.

You perfectly described how I felt when I saw Seed DESTINY. Its a shame the sequel to SEED was a complete and utter piece of garbage. Even the final battle for Destiny was so stupid: Kira didn't even get a single scratch! Back in Seed, Kira was a good pilot, but he wasn't untouchable. The Druggies, Athrun and Rau were able to deal much damage to him.

I like to pretend that Destiny doesn't exist, and that show ended after the battle with Providence.
