Do not do long distance relationships! They are always a disasters. Men are able to hide their stuff in these type of situations.

With your 39 emails, if they respond with one liners, they are not that into you. So move on. The others, you should go back and forth for no more than 3-4 weeks. If they don't ask you out, move on .

I think what you've encountered is pretty typical. Especially those annoying one-liners! Arghhh... but the 39 emails was a GREAT idea. In my online dating experience I've also seen that men take the lead in asking out... I would say about a week, two weeks tops for meeting. Good luck with the guys you're corresponding with and have in in Indiana :-)

I agree. One liners are not good. Concerning meeting someone offline be very careful. You know the common sense stuff, don't get in their car, get their info and pass it to a friend. All that jazz. But let them ask first because you already expressed your interest in "dating" or courtship. That's already a greenlight if you are hitting it off. Best wishes.
