Great video :) Cape Scott is really amazing, isn't it? Good thing you guys didn't bring a dog because that's the first thing the wolves would go for :S So unfortunately I won't be bringing mine this year :'(
There is also the North Coast Trail starting in Port Hardy which is about a five day hike to Cape Scott :D It will be an awesome challenge.

Cool video! You guys are quite hardy; an encounter with a wolf sounds really intense! The idea to pack a whistle to scare away wildlife was really ingenious. When I went to British Columbia, I went to Vancouver Island as well, but only saw Victoria there. How far is it from the BC Ferries stop to Cape Scott, I'm just curious? Anyway, looking forward to the next video of yours.

@TomF016 From Victoria, Cape Scott is about 7 Hours by car, and from Nanaimo Ferry, it is about 5 and a half. Next video should be up within a few weeks.
