Cloudsong was an Artifact cloak from DAOC. Because of the way the boss encounter worked, for a long time anyone could loot the cloak when it dropped after the boss died, so a trend started where people would make level 1 characters and goto Aerus to wait for the mob to spawn and just steal the cloak.

LOL this is not from wow. Its from dark age of camelot. A kid was camping in aerus waiting for the cloudsong mob to spawn, back in the day it could be days to wait. And you had to have the scrolls, encounter and the actual artifact to drop for you in order to activate. Well a grp came while he was camping and jacked the mob. So he lost it. This is like 6 or 7 years old.

Wrong. At the time this thing happened (years ago FYI), CloudSong was quite sought-after, and the respawn time was pretty long and the encounter you had to do wasn't exactly easy to do either.

cloudsong is a cloak and artifact that has 100% chance drop rate however some requirement must be met before you are able to kill the mob.

first you would need to do a quest only once ! for a music box.. ( its no longer required )

and the mob to be up.... they had long spawn rates back then plus you would need 3-4 people and you would need to be lucky to win the roll.
