Good Lord. Every song rocks. I don't blame the Grammy voters for splitting the vote among Evergreen and You Light Up My Life. Those were the two best ones, but the other nominees still sound great.

I still miss John Denver, what a giant, what a talent. I loved Crystal Gayle too, oh and Evergreen - damn what a beautiful song. I saw the movie, okay it stank but what a song. It's not nostalgia but I would have split the prize every way that year.

I admit I'm not a John Denver fan so I asked a huge Denver fan to watch this & see if my impressions that it sucked horribly were correct. He agreed but added that it's not easy covering other people's songs. To this I said "then why did he do it?"
