Every time i go to Thailand i buy myself a motorbike helmet at Tesco Lotus and wear it when i ride when i leave Thailand i pass bye a motorbike parked on the street and i hang it on the steering i write on a paper and tape it to the helmet

No matter how good you are at what you do. Shit happens. Wear a helmet. It's better to be safe than sorry. I can think of at least 5 times that if I didn't have my helmet I'd probably be severely hurt. But since I wore one I had the ability to get up, shake my head and keep riding

I ride my 1000cc GSXR at 140mph on the highway since I live 3min away from it, and i love it! There isn't a better feeling than chilly winds hitting your face while going 140mph. It's a thrill to live for and I won't regret it even if I crash! I've gone 185mpg w/o a helmet before and boy did I almost crapped my pants. I'm experienced rider, I've been riding for 1yr now and I love it!

Flea- I totally respect your right to hold your own views, and especially to choose not to wear a helmet. But is obedience to ever-changing "fashion" really worth even the potential for such horrific injuries? Even if it is worth it for you, surely you can see the value in an educational approach such as this? The ad makes a good point too: you think a helmet affects your looks, but a severe head / facial injury is a bit more permanent.
