I will not go so far as to say that Beyonce "paved the way" for up and coming artist, she is however, a success and should be admired and respected. Diana Ross paved the way...not Beyonce. Bey's success is just that HER OWN individual success. Besides, what ever battles that came Bey's way, she made it clear that she didn't have to fight them...her father did. Keri made that diss record out of jealously and spit..she is jealous of Bey's success, like so many others are.

Me: Actually she has. There are MANY artists coming into the industry that have said that Bey's their template as an artist. So Rodney Jerkins is right, remember he is Brandy's primary producer so he has been in the industry for a while and knows the history of it as well as seeing artists come and go in it.
