  • We've got a melee breaking out here at the skunk show!

Wow, if I had known skunk shows were this competitive, and the skunks get into fights, I'd have started attending! ;)

  • =3 so precious!

  • Listen to that noise!! I never heard that kind of noise before. They are beyond adorable!!

  • skunks are cool but can i get a highlight reel? tia (thanks in advance)

  • like you're anyone to instruct a skunk about vaginas you dumb faggort!

  • lol ur fooling no one we all know those are dogs

  • "That's a girl! That's right! That's a vagina!"

    LOL

  • For God's sake, what these people don't seen to understand is

    1) These are wild animals and there is a difference between *tame* and *domesticated*, and

    2) We do not let our animals "mingle" at shows. Can you imagine cat or dog show breeders allowing their animals to do this at the show?

  • it unlike a dog or cat show is a very informal event, these are not pure bred pedegree animals either, but it isn't about that either. It's about a group of like minded exotic animal owners getting together to have a good time. I bet the dog and cat owners dont have after parties either

  • i completly agree with you people pay thousands of dollars for there dogs and cats and those owners are stuck up if we had skunk shows in alabama i would take mine but there arent but the shows are just people who love their pets and the pets get interaction and its a chance for the owners to make friends with other owners its not like dog fighting does the person who posted the comment think thats ok cause i mean those dogs are domestic whould that be more to you liking

  • What YOU don't understand dumbass....these skunks are specifically bred to be pets....who gives a rat's ass what dog and cat breeders do or don't do at their show's? We're talking SKUNKS here...

  • @ForcedToSignUp

how in fuck did cats or dogs become domesticated in the first place? ugh, people like you give me stress when it comes to things like this.

I fully support the domestication of skunks, since native americans had kept them as pets before the the white men came. If you buy this animal from a breeder, they will make the most wonderful pet if you give em' lots of love! =3

the important thing is to know where you get them, from a safe humanized setting.

  • @hop1pop You misunderstand me. Domestication takes hundreds of years and I do actually support this for skunks. I support skunks as pets for people who take the time to learn and care for them. But, as it stands now, skunks are wild animals and need a lot more time and attention than a true domesticated animal like a dog or a cat. Additionally, I think what they are doing with the "mingling" in the video is a very bad idea.

  • @ForcedToSignUp

lol. I disagree, the skunks didnt brutally attack one another, no one died or got cut or bruised.

    *sigh*

  • @hop1pop

That's very fortunate! I wouldn't let my skunk do that if I had one. I guess I am more used to dog and cat shows were letting the animals "mingle" is sacrilege. :)

  • @hop1pop And best of all, no one got sprayed! That's the benefit of having skunks de-scented. :)
