@finalfanta15 Careful. This is a PS1 game, and the laser in the PS3 may or may not ruin the discs when you're playing. It's very iffy. I'd really recommend getting either a PS1 or PS2 (since they're VERY cheap now) if you want to play these older games, since there are so many great games still playable by them.

Because Square Soft did Chrono Cross (which is my second favorite game in the whole world next to FF-IX.) @Gbiua FF IX pays homage to all previous FF's. So this one is most reminiscent of FF7. On a side note, Chrono Trigger did have some compositions done by Uematseu so that can be a reason for some similarities.
