Wonderful machine! I was wondering, I weigh about 240 and I'm about 6'3...I really want to get this same bike, same year aswell. Do you think I'm too big for it? and please be honest!! Thank you so much for your help and great video!! Help from anyone would be highly appreciated, even if it involves you telling me how big you are and how you feel on the bike! Thanks!
Ah, thanks a lot! Thanks for the quick reply!! YOur brother is a big guy! Does he look weird on it? And does the bike still go top speed? Also, what is the top speed?? Thanks so much for the help, cheers!
Yes he is a big guy lol you can see it ride this bike on my other video, he doesn't look weird on it lol. Hum the top speed, 280Km/h on a german highway (highspeed unlimited ;-) ) sorry for my english ^^
the projector is standard in most European and Japan Versions. It's only the left side (if you're on the bike) that has a projector. The other side it's simply a mirrored 45w bulb. U.S version has no projectors, however, I put two car projectors on mine - look at my vid and see the difference. This is a great bike though
Too many factors to consider dumbfuck. cold dry cement is very easy to slip on as opposed to cold gravel for example... Think beore you type, especially responding to a comment 8 months ago. I'm done with your stupid ass. G'day faggot. ^^
HAHAHAHAHA your an idiot. Coldgravel is still easier to slip out on...think before YOU speak. Idiot. Period. Point is, Gravel is easier to slip out on than cement..hot/cold/wet, your an idiot if you don't know that.
P version? ive never heard of that one.. where did i came from all those letters?.. im mechanic i ve fixed like 100 of those. but nope never heard of p version.
Just because you're a mechanic doesn't mean u should know all the versions. But since u wanted to know, every zx7r from 96 to 03 is a P version because they're the same bike but different colors/decals. 1996 is P1,1997 is p2,98 is p3 and so on 2003 is p8. Congratulations you made yourself look like a total tool miss Im a mechanic and I know everything. I own a zx7r and I know what I ride how about that
Escuse me When Ever did i said i know All the versions? Thats So stupid!, Thats preciseley Why i asked What version is that in first place!! because i wanted to know!. Just a dumbass claim to know everything and a dumbasser dont understand what is posted.
I have a 96' ZX6R, great bike. I imagine the 7's are sweet too, although I do like the looks of the 6's more because of the headlight(s) and tail lights.
haha fix=fixer, or reguler. je suis albanais mais je vis en AMÉRIQUE . fixez votre motocyclette? votre frère non bon chauffeur de motocyclette :)my french is so badddd
I dropped my 7r first time as it was parked "donwhill" yesterday..I took it out of gear as I was puttin my gloves on and out of nowhere she moved forward and the kickstand went up..i catched it on my lap and then let it go down sloww...Where Can I get a tail section like yours?
yeah i know. I've seen your video and comments on ZX7R videos. Trust me when I say its a bad idea to get ANY sports bike as a first bike. And its not about careful if you dont have slow speed control. Remember, in the first 3-4 months is when 90% of the accidents happen for a beginner. Be careful
And really this has been debated on forums for many many years. I did the "mistake" of buying a sports bike for a first bike. You will not learn as fast as with a smaller bike. Probably only after 1-2 years you will realise the potential of the bike. Anyway, at the end its all about what you want to buy
I don't doubt what you're saying.I've been bitched out at sportbikes. net after i told them i bought a 750..I have a friend who started on a R1 and hasn't dropped the bike yet..however I was going to get a much smaller bike, I couldn't refuse $2500 for the 7r..the temptation was just too high..still looking forward to the day i fall, hopefully never
You're not thinking. It doesn't matter if it's a sportsbike, cruiser, or dual...you will drop it. Speed doesn't make people drop there bikes...90% of the times it's gravel. I started on a ZX6R, no doubts whatsoever...
Gravel? Try loss of Balance by means of gravel, lack of experience(speed), stupid "tricks", or any number of reasons. You can lose the bike just as easily on dry cement, as you can on loose gravel.
Of course it does, you an idiot though. Gravel is still easier to slip out on than dry cement. Every heard of the coeffiecient of friction? Its physics you idiot....
actually u'd fall off a bike on high speeds as much as on low speeds. 70% of the starters drop their bikes at low speeds their first month. Gravel is hard to drive on and put many experience riders to test, but most accidents on such sportbikes happen for other reasons than gravel.
50% road? I don't remember when the last time someone dropped their bike was due to road gravel. Unless you're out in the country side, accidents due to gravel are 10% to none. Most accidents are other drivers on the road or riders miscalculations, taking a turn too hot, not handling tank slappers, locking rear wheel, etc.Either ways, road or dirt it's the riders life on the line therefore anyone on a bike, should break and accelerate and make decisions as if other drivers around them were blind
Everyone knows you should ride like no-one can see you. But you're a dipshit if "I don't remember when the last time someone dropped their bike was due to road gravel." you dont think a rider has dropped there bike cause of gravel...hell where I live, there is about a million hidden spots of gravel on the average ride...You likely live in Van or Cali, some place where it isn't an issue. You can come around a corner and bam.
yea man..i jsut went for a ride around the parking lot for my first time on my 7r. Its a pretty bike but kinda scary..u can hit 7000 rpms like its nothing...Heavy too although I couldnt feel the weight much when moving. What sucked was not being able to turn much on low speeds
Crazy , is an understatement ; )

He is right, it is a P1 or P2 model (97 or 98)
The ZX-6R's however go F1-F3 for 95-97, then G1, G2 (98,99), and then H etc...
