Now that I see how far the hand can bend back and forth, you could do like an "Oh mah gawd, no way" pose. Like the hand bent forward all the way, fingers out, and the arm up in a bend. xD Ah... what fun you can have with a PG.
You just made my day...I was looking for a PG Zeta video and I found it! I was debating on either the Strike and Skygrasper or Zeta and after watching this, I just made my choice. xD
ok I know this is a stupid question to ask but...how sold is a pg model. I have put together a few Hgs togehter and they are pretty sold so I just have to wonder how sold a Ph is. stupid question i know.
Thanks a lot for doing this. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect from a perfect grade, but now after watching this, I just reserved and will pick up my Zeta tomorrow. One quick question though, can you remove and attach the exterior armour without much effort or is it like once it's on, it's on for good. I have a 1/100 Heavy Arms Custom and there's not much to the insides and you can't really play with the exterior platings so I was curious. Thanks.
Not hard to remove the armour. I made these videos years after building and took the armour off to film. You know how they go together so you know how to take it all apart.
So is there a difference when it comes to the endoskeletal frame of Zeta and the RX 78? Cause the storylines say there is a huge difference on how the frame is made.
the gundam mark II had what was called a moveable frame. instead of heavily armoring certain things attatched to the frame (such as thrusters etc.) those things were built into the frame to save weight and keep the suit as a whole from being too bulky.
it was sacrificing armor for mobility. which made sense because at the advent of beam weaponry, no matter how much armor a mobile suit had it was usually destroyed with one or two shots from such a weapon.
basically, yes. the rx-78 had much thicker armor. and was more difficult to repair.
the main reason the rx-78 seems indestructible in the original series is because most zeon mobile suits used only basic weapons. like machine guns. the rx-78 was made out of an at the time advanced armor that was very resistant to that.
like i said, when beam weapons were more widely used, the rx-78 was outdated. in the end the mark II was basically a testbed though.
Hi, it's been 9 years since I built this guy, I really not remember, but hopefully someone else who can remember will see your question and help you out regards those 2 watch size batteries and if they come with it as part of the kit or if you need to buy them yourself.
when are you going to move up from these ole lamo pg's and get a 1/12? lol anyways i love these high quality videos that just show off the shear amount of detail. you just captured it all exceptionally well.
is it easier to wire? is it like the strike gundam and just has a little light box that inserts into the head.really thinking about getting this one next.
Well, I built mine over a period of a few weeks,I know new slow record right? I did one limb at a time, taking about 1 hour each not trying to make a chore out of it or make it any way bothersome, but boy I love it.
Yeah, I went over all my parts with a coat of paint, mostly the same color as the parts but it really makes it stand out more and gives it a much less plastic look.
I have just purchased this model and it is awsome. I'm having trouble building it. I can't get the screws all the way in. About half way they get harder to turn. I start stripping the screws. I don't want to ruin the model. Please help me! Any advice is welcomed and thanked.
I Finally found a correct size screw driver and fixed those screws. I was wondering does the model come with the CR1220 battery in the head unit? I thought the box said it came with the batteries.
this ones my fav, longest to build with very little space. however i think i messed up on the right wing, cuz the green light doesnt shine that well on it
actually japan, is starting this one thing called "Towards the realization of gundam" where they're researching on building real gundams and ever since WW2, japan wasn't allowed to build a human army due to the treaty they signed. But it didn't say they can't build an Army of robots!!
I heard that a certain japanese electronics company has recently created a "mini-nuclear generator" for powering things like apartment buildings and such. If they were able to make them portable, it might be able to power things like "mobile suits". If you remember, in the first episode of Gundam (0079), it's noted that the Zakus were powered by nuclear generators. Hmmm...
wishing for a PG Unicorn!

im going to get soon, does this require any specific equipment, or can i build it right out of the box, with a screwdriver being the only necessity?

I consider some cutters and a hobby knife are essentials. see the start of my video titled "MG Gundam RX-78-2 v2.0 1/100 part1 (anatomy)"

Im planning on Getting Exia 1/60 do I need a screw driver? or those are fake screws?
Monkerr 3 years ago
The Gundam Exia 1/60 isn't a perfect grade model so you wont be using any screws at all. 1/60 exia is equivalent work of a MG maybe less
staykey 3 years ago
so wont have a skeleton?
Monkerr 3 years ago
I can't say if there are any screws in the Exia. I'll let you know if I get this one in future though.

hey is this exoskeleton just like the perfect grade wing zero? wanna get one and just finished building the pg wing zero.
GreyFox2000 3 years ago
The Zeta's endoskeleton is pretty much as you see him here. Wing Zero is way skinny in comparison.
2Old4Toys 3 years ago
is it easier to wire? is it like the strike gundam and just has a little light box that inserts into the head.really thinking about getting this one next.
GreyFox2000 3 years ago
Zeta head light is self contained, unlike the WingZero.
2Old4Toys 3 years ago
is it easy to pose, does it have a stand?
if not do you know of a place that has one?

ah this is quite the PG. i have the MG Zeta Gundam 2.0... also a great kit
