Hello, can you explain how you rendered this video into 1080p? What editing software did you use, and did you render it into mov format? I use Sony Vegas Pro, but everytime I render a video into 1080p and upload it onto youtube, it doesn't have the quality as good as this video. @samljer yea i know video quality doesnt rely on MPs..... 1080p video is only like 2MP (1920x1080).....but this definitely beats my camcorder , maybe not by much, in daylight but low light its way better....the only advantage i see is that my camcorder can do 720p 60 FPS....i dont see it as a replacement but as a vlogging/secondary camera it'd be nice

Considering the size of this tiny camera and how little it weighs... the image stabilization is incredible!!! I've seen people vlog with it while walking and there's VERY little shake! I can't wait until Wednesday! I ordered mine already! :)

The camera handles low light still well, but not video. The camera does not increase the iso in dim light, so videos inside like this one and out doors in the evning turns out very dark. I estimates the iso in video mode to be around 100. The videos are noice free, but that doesn't help if you can't see whats on them.

Low FPS or the video-audio is a little desynchronized… I don't really know what's it but there is something, it's less natural than the panasonic, less smooth.

@akusheep It suffers from tiny stutters when it's adjusting the ISO because of quickly changing lighting conditions. It's a damn good little camera though. I just got one and I'm impressed. Low lighting is a little hit and miss, but then things like that need physical volume in the lens and sensor to capture it more accurately, hence DSLR's and dedicated video cameras being so huge (comparatively at least) lol.

@TalesOfWar So does that explain why I hear quick stutters in audio when experiencing major exposure changes? I noticed in Saturday's vlog (going live on Monday) has a couple audio stutters, but only when the camera clicks. Is this normal for a camera of this size?

@thecreativeone Probably. It'll be changing the aperture size so the mic will be picking that up. It might be more noticeable on this thing because it's such a tiny camera and everything is much closer together. I don't do much video stuff so I can't really say if it's normal or not. If you plan to use this for your videos when you're sat at your desk it might be an idea to use your external mic, then sync it in FCPX. Just use the clapping trick to help line it up lol.

It picked up a lot of the background sounds in this video I noticed, without it sounding tinny or distorting anything. Quite impressive! Another theory on the stutter may be the processor is busy changing the ISO and stuff so it missed a couple of cycles on the audio? I thought of that after hitting post on the last reply lol.

Could you render the demo reel of your Panaosnic in FCP 'cause iMovie sucks at dark colors. Don't really now how to say it in technical terms but you get horrible massive pixel blocks of a shade of grey. I thought I was going crazy when I was seeing it but I took a video and rendered it in iMovie and it wasn't the best with dark areas.
