  • @2:32 The shortest time it takes to fall in love.

  • Pulp, Blur, Supergrass. AWESOME

  • @SgtGlue And don't forget Oasis, please.

  • Golden years! So help the aged 'cause soon I'll be 42. God, Im 43...

  • Climax.

  • was I only one that laughed at the messages that popped up throughout the music video? God, Pulp were just geniuses! Jarvis Cocker will always be my first love :3

  • we got one, no more. ta love.cuz you'll get some elsewhere anyhoo

  • we got one, no more. ta love.

  • nah don't want anymore of yer babies.

  • makes u whant 2 get up and dance

  • Sin duda, una buena cancion, que logra recordar sentimientos y momentos, me recuerda a mi novia de secundaria, sobre todo esta parte " oh i want to take you home, i want to give you children, you might be my GIRLFRIEND"

  • get a life you old gits. banging on about how cool it was then... tsk tsk

  • Just finnished giving a bottle to one of my babies! came home today from my office job and paid the mortgage!!! When the fek did that happen, Please rewind 15 yrs please!

  • @christine140374 like a pilot music video

  • Why is there two Music Videos for Babies ?

  • I'm well over 40 and I love music from all decades, the 90s were awesome though for uplifting dance tracks and of course I love Pulp. I'm also a fan of Duran Duran, Steps, Leona Lewis, Bay City Rollers, Oasis, Belinda Carlisle, Elton John, etc...I love all music apart from rap.

  • i love this band so much and i'm 16 years old.

  • That my decade was the best stuff is really tiresome, everyone thinks their decade was the best cuz that's when you where young and all those good memories are associated with those songs, but the truth of the matter is that there is always great music being made, you just need to find it, but as you get older there are more pressing things happening and u r just less able to spare the time in to find it, are the Arctic Monkeys, better then Pulp, i'd say there are both good and leave it at that.

  • Why does nothing compare to this?....No original thoughts like this anymore ..Deserved to sell millions of copies...

  • Jarvis is cool as fuck. Top band.

  • 3:33 - 3:35 just washes my soul

  • Jarvis is so fucking sexy.

  • Fucking AMAZING~XD!!!

  • saw them isle of white jarvis cocker is a legend ! i wish id been alive the first time round

  • I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM THIS SUMMER

  • belter of a tune....and easily Pulp's best studio album, all downhill from here

  • I only went with her coz she looks like you - brilliant lyrics. Wish they would come back to save us from this modern crap we have to put up with.

  • @COLINME7 They have reformed

  • Why are there still lesbians when There's Jarvis Cocker?

  • @gogolplex74 Good question.

  • @TheTrollKing123 <- Why should I even bother?

  • The 90's version of The Smiths

  • @handsomedevil98 With synths.

  • @handsomedevil98 they came before smiths

  • yeah they might have been about b4 the smiths but no one had ever heard of pulp until his and hers, im not knocking them love both the smiths and pulp but the smiths were way ahead of their time absolute legends.

  • he makes me dance sat on my chair!

  • The mid 1990s - the best part of the decade.......

  • these were the days!!!! the new acts like beiber and shit is ruining the music!!!

  • he was a jackie stud. then his band got famous. he wrote the adolesent girl fantasy good though yeah???????????????xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • so how come there were two versions of this video? im more of a fan of the other one, to be honest..

  • its like a 'jackie' storyline

  • Jarvis is the only person who can look good with that outfit. He's hot

  • liking the chorus, and the verse, and the refrain, the whole thing to be honest...

  • 15-25 year olds plese take note: THIS IS REAL MUSIC FROM THE COOLEST DECADE SINCE THE 60s......So stuff your never-ending 80s revival, Simon Cowell, JLS and all that other shit, I'm goin' back to the 90s!

  • @oz1641 I'm 24 and I remember the '90s fairly well. They were grand times.

  • @firebreeze "They were GRAND times" - what? Are you now going on SEVENTY?

  • @TheOldEchoes Yes. Now get off of my lawn.

  • @firebreeze Splendid, lad, splendid.

  • @TheOldEchoes pmsl

  • @oz1641 I wouldn't mind going to the 90s either. As much as I love the 90s indie scene, such as this, I've always been very into Grunge. However, I wouldn't mind fucking off to the 60s for some Stones records and a Camberwell carrot.

  • @oz1641 What us JLS

  • @oz1641 what about 37 year olds? Some of us are still cool.

  • @rabkebab28 if you're listening to Pulp then yes, yes you are!!

  • @oz1641 I have taken note, hence I watch this video. Don't call me a JLS fan either, I'm taking offense...

  • @kosmischesynth No mate, calling someone a JLS fan is reserved for the lowest of the low! pmsl.

  • @oz1641 80s and 90s were both kick ass.

  • @oz1641 bit of a patronising idiot aren't ya mate? I'm 22 and been listening to pulp since I was a kid.

  • @samandyjohn You are the exception that proves the rule! Thank God for young people like you!

  • @oz1641 A gracious response, I shouldn't of called you an idiot. Apologies - and yes and no, many of my friends listen to music from 1990s and much earlier, literally over 50 people I know mate.

  • @samandyjohn No problem mate. It's great that young(er) people are listening to proper music instead of the mass produced shite that passes itself off as music today. Now it is Cowell and the big American labels, in the 80s it was Stock, Aitken and Waterman's 'hit factory', in the 70s it was disco and in the 60s it was the moguls at Tin Pan Alley. All of them have tried to destroy rock and roll, none have ever succeeded, nor ever will.

Britpop Forever no matter what age you are!

  • @oz1641 ha ha fair play luv 60s and the 90s music 80s was my teens but dt like the 80s crap 90s is better even though im old now 41 lol

  • @sixtysandy1 41 is the new 21!

  • woooooooooooooow i love pulp

  • i want to give you children. romantic and glorious. i would absolutely melt if someone told me that

  • @hopskipjumprecords. me too and i'm a geezer

  • There's something so retro about this song, something very 60s loungish, go-go-ish. Too cool.

  • I first heard about Pulp in Media Studies class at age 13; it was this video as well. Who ever said school was worthelss? :)

  • Toda una maravilla de rola. Pulp serás siempre grande entre los grandes. Saludos.

  • My favorite part was 0:00 - 4:17

  • jarvis cocker=legend

  • My wife and I can't stop dancing to this song. Brilliant.

  • That synth is so badass

  • I've never seen any guy dance like that ever. Wow. wow. wow.

  • SHEFFIELD

  • @j4wn In the 90's was AWESOME!

  • Every song he ever sings makes you feel like you are really there and can or have lived in that moment.

  • I jusst downloaded this mp3 at ezmp3grab..com

  • heres a thought, i think elvis would of sang a great version of this song

  • love it

  • I get goosebumps at 3:22 every time. Great time to be alive. I'll never forget those days. Thanks Pulp!

  • me too sniff sniff, glory days

  • twelve (01:12am/Aug/12/2010) people missed the thumbs up button... it must be that.

  • Who said a white man can't dance? Jarvis proves everyone wrong.

And the media vocabulary inbetween scenes are interesting; shows Jarvis actually knows his stuff about his profession, which is so rare these days.

  • Jarvis Cocker is the sexiest man alive and he knows it.

  • May this video live forever on here :) Great tune. Jarvis is the man!!!

  • i fucking love that man

  • Amazing song...Amusing lyrics <3 this

  • If you have a foot, it should be tapping right now. Very fine song.

  • i couldn't help but laugh outloud :] that feel.

  • God I love this song!!

  • crazy, i never knew there was another version of this!

not the most flattering look for jarvis. :) looks like theyre all having fun hamming it up.

  • i like the song

  • great song, but the bit at the end is the biggest affected cringe since the end of Joni Mitchell's Big Yellow Taxi

  • Greatest Pulp song ever....

  • A huevooooooooo!!!!

  • I listened outside, i heard here-- oh riightt!!

  • If your going to be crucified tonight....make a baby before you go, only to return, and give it al the love you never had and more.

  • i also wanna get back, get me a delorean

  • How fantastic is this video??

  • omg I use to fancy Jarvis Cocker ...love pulp though

  • what great times, on one hand you had fantastic bands like this. and the other, you still had a underground dance scene. bring back the 90's. i feel sorry for kids these days. what have they got? great days!!! oh to be young again!

  • i dont' usually agree with someone feting the past, but that dichotomy was quite special...

  • @POTT1973 Couldn't agree more. Dance music now is either cheesy or too pretentious.

  • how cooooool is this................???

  • Heard it tonight in a bar in amsterdam. I thought it was brilliant way back then. I think it's a now timeless.

  • amo a Jarvis!!

  • when did richard hawley join pulp

  • I went with her because she looks like you - classic. I just hope she'd also shaved that morning.

  • jjjjjjjjjjjjjjj adoro a este loko jarvisl o maximo yeah!!!!!!

  • The classic line up of the band. Pre-stardom years. This is from the compilation called Intro-The Gift recordings. The track was re-recorded for His n' hers album, their best record, despite they became really famous with Different Class. This is the raw Pulp, an excellent act.

  • Fucking AMAZING.....Those were the days...i so wanna go back..PLEASE..!!

  • @karziflora its not called moving- its calling gliding. he's a swan in a butter lake..!

  • @karziflora I you can get some plutonium to run my Flux capacitor you can come with me.

  • Coolllll ...........Top Song

  • one word for this= cool

  • fuck it , im buying the album

  • yes hotbud001. Do yourself and Jarvis a solid and buy this record (instead of downloading it illegally). This is a perfect example of how good fair use (youtube) benefits the artist and motivated sales. Good on you!

  • i hate downloading albums illegally, or buying them on i tunes ive just got mannny cd's :D

    Pulp forever

  • fucking class!!

  • LOL! Isn't it just! :O)))

  • Jarvis, I wanna give you children! hahaha

  • The drummer of this song tryed to play an A chorde and got it wrong and barred the last three strings of the second fret. The lead singer said it was wrong but made an awesome sound. Thats how that came into this song.

  • how music should be made

  • Excellent Pulp song. Too bad they are not around anymore.

    Cheers from London,

    The Firegazers
