get Peace Walker, Dead Or Alive Paradise, Gran Turismo, Silent HIll Origins, Soul Calibur, Tekken 6, P3P, Hot Shots Golf Open Tee 2 etc. and you'll love the PSP. I have my PSPGO full up with classics like RE1, RE2, RE 3, Oddworld, FF9, Castlevania. I play it more than my PS3.

its definitly not a failing system. Theres so many games coming out near the end of the year, so many announcements. I'd prefer this over an ipod or an DS simply because of its multimedia uses as well as its game selection. Little big planet, jak :lost frontier, Gran Turismo, assasin's creed psp, motorstorm arctic edge, persona, and soul calibar broken destiny are all set to release soon. The games already out are awesome as well such as god of war, crisis core, rock band, socom, jeanne d'arc...

If you update your PSP to 5.03, I did that today and regret it pretty bad, since I had psp firmware 2.5, I could of downgraded it to 1.50 and just installed custom firmware to play all the games for free xD. If you have a psp version under 3.0, it's better to just downgraded and install custom firmware, that way all you have to do is download the game yourself and put it on your memory stick.
