@chkjns your graphics are great, but no, it's the pure genius of Perry Botkin Jr that makes this feel like a magic carpet ride. I just today discovered a cut of Up Up & Away by German bandleader Kurt Edelhagen. It was so good it almost left THIS in the dust! Then I found out why, at the end of the video - album cover picture & the words "arranged by Quincy Jones" Forget about gold standards, QJ is the platinum standard ! ! !

I saw the title, my jaw dropped, and I clicked the 'like' icon before it even started playing. I know Perry's style would render this gorgeous. It's candy for the ears! These great arrangement always include everything but the kitchen sink, flutes, soaring strings, syncopated rhythm, lush bass trombones, trumpet riffs, acoustic guitar, even a xylophone!
