yes a good deal is hard to come by these days or is it? remember people, no matter who makes the engine the final price will tell you what your getting! . Oh so true the statement... "You get what you pay for" in this day and age. You might get 2 of one kind for the price of another but believe me... when they make an engine they know exactly how much it should cost based on the quality you can't see so again, you get what you pay for!.
not the easiest starting gas engine ive seen my DA and zdz both start with a couple of flicks after choking first. Also DL is not a copy of DA but they do get great reports a nice engine by all accounts.
if youre in pakistan, then i dont know who you should send it to,,but to check the reed valve you need to remove it ,and air should only go one way, also check that you have full fuel flow ,with a big clunk, theres a small screen in the inlet side of the carb too, check it,,use ngk cm6 plugs ,or you may have a bad motor with a scored piston from manufacturing shavings,t use petroleun base break in oil.
hi tom i have bought a dl 100 also and i am running 1:35 ratio fuel and 27x10 prop but i have burnt abt 10 tanks of fuel 4 in the air but my engine is making these funny coughing noises and the rpm is not going above 5800 and it stands between 5600-5800 what do u think could be the problem
use a 26 x8 and high octane gas with lawn boy, also if you know how make sure your reeds arent leaking, and plugs ,,use ngk are properly gapped, also make sure your carb filter isnt full of junk.
norm53 hey hi thanks for replying but dude dont u think a new engine is doin all this the plugs are perfectly gapped when i open more fuel the rpm even further lowers and when u make it lean then it gets stuck to the rpm i told u and one more thing it back fired yesterday and i think one of the plugs is down now i think it could be the reed valve if this is the case what should i do change the whole carb or just the reed valve
also ,if you didnt use petroleum base break in oil,,then you may have missed your chance to properly seat the rings, plus im not sure what grade gasoline is available to you ,but it must be pure 97 octane ,and not ethanol added,so theres alot to check,my friend here in the usa had to return his because of carb issues, you might even make sure your ignition battery is sufficient

You forgot about the price, You can buy two DL 100's for the price of less than one DA 100

Watch again. It started on the 3rd flip after he took the choke off.

The DL 100 is a very good engine, they have a lot of power, most parts from a DA will fit this engine.
