@DellionNL In the case of the tornado in this video, a house of stone wouldn't be much of a match unfortunately. This was what's known as an F3, which has winds of 158-206 miles per hour .. nature is beautiful for sure, but only when it's not destroying anything! If you ever do get to see one in person, I hope you are a safe distance from it! :-]

That was great footage! It is the best I have seen of any of the NC tornadoes from this past Saturday. You guys lucked out to have a great angle of it and a great shooting point. Usually the vortex is very obscured by the surrounding cloud of debris and by the rain, but in your footage it is very visible. Thanks for sharring. I live in Raleigh and it was very frightening. However it must have been a magnificant sight to behold. Glad you all stopped and were safe though!
