Oh, the dumb solutions people are coming up with to this...

It's not magnets. It's very, VERY difficult to get things to float with magnets. Much less having them float and move back and forth at the same time.

It has nothing to do with the gloves, because even if the gloves were van de graff generators, the cube looks too heavy and solid for that to work.

Watch the slow-mo at 4:10. The cube rolls on a single axis. That means there are strings at the two corners. Problem solved.
