3rd party software allows most of those things with the 3G, no one takes professional images with their phone, and you gotta be really lazy to use voice dialing.

No. Verizon uses a different cell phone technology (CDMA) and the phone is available via AT&T. Sprint also uses CDMA, so iPhone won't be available on their network. You must be thinking of the Samsung Instinct.

At&T has the exclusive contract until' 2009 from what I have read, so if you want to change service, wait till then I guess.
