A remix can also just be the same song but extended. There are alot of songs titled remix or Extended versions which are basically just the same songs but longer in duration. If it's a Club Mix it's destined 2 play in clubs and if it's any other remix such as edit or dub version, than it's meant strictly 4 our enjoyment. There are also Radio Edits or versions meant 4 radio airplay. For instance I have Wham's Wake me up...which is the same song but double the length of the 7" original.

because how are you supposed to even tell its a remix if there are no samples that are the same? the produecers could of called it something else
